Alright, I'm the main acoustic guitarist of two bands, I play for hours almost every day, and I perform maybe two to three times a week. So that being said, don't write off what I have to say thinking that because I bought an entry-level guitar here that I'm a beginner with no experience or knowledge about quality instruments.

Here are the things I'm not too happy about with this guitar. The reason why I gave this a 4.5 for features is because I wish the preamp were 3 or 4 band, and you have to plug a chord into the guitar to access the tuner. But, hey, it's a cheap guitar. The reason why I gave it a 4 for quality is because the fretboard feels a little rough, the intonation is just a hair sharp, there is a small patch of dried glue on the bridge, the strings were kind of dirty when I got it, and it wasn't in tune when I took it out of the case. (ordered a Gator lightweight case with it that works pretty well).

Now for the things that I am pleased with. This guitar has an amazing acoustic sound!!!!! It was love at first strum. In standard tuning, it's a nice pretty voice, but I got it for the purpose of it being my DADGAD acoustic, and MAN!!!!! When I switched over to DADGAD, this guitar sang the stars out of the Heavens with it's rich, warm, and brilliant voice. That being said, I was very pleased, also, with the pickup and the plugged-in sound. Of course, it's not a Fishman, but the magnetic pickup captured so well the rich and sparkling tone of the guitar. I ordered mine in the antique violin finish because I wanted the nice dark, chocolate brown color to make it clearly distinguishable from my go-to dreadnought with natural, solid spruce top for an audience. The pictures on here don't give any justice at all to the beauty of this finish! The action already was very nice and easy. It feels good in my hands, although it could be a little easier and lower when it comes to playing leads on the higher strings, but I'll get it set up eventually.

All in all, I thought I was just getting a cheap, second guitar for DADGAD usage, but I was blown away when I played it. I plan to take it to the shop for a setup, and some day, I'd like to replace the pickup and the nut and saddle with bone, but you CANNOT beat this!!!! Buy one!!!!!!!!!
