The result was an especially clean, handsome guitar with all the Les Paul essentials. Newly designed in 2004, the Studio now has a thicker body that matches its namesake, hot open-coil Alnico Classic humbuckers, a set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and mahogany body with carved top. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and LockTone stopbar tailpiece add more sustain and make string changing easier. Limited lifetime warranty.

You definitely are getting more then what you pay for. Even though the Epiphone Les Paul Studio does not have as many features as the Epiphone Standard LP (no binding, fret markers are diff, open humbuckers), this guitar is still a quality guitar! Definitely worth it!! I can't put this guitar down (and I own 8 other quality guitars).

The open humbuckers are hot and punchy. The guitar only needed minor adjusting and was very nearly well intonated right out of the box. Frets are smooth and fast. The Vintage Sunburst Finish is INCREDIBLE to look at. It turns heads for sure. The tuners are nice and tight and the strings stay in tune. Knobs are smooth, although it could be a tad looser. The selector switch is okay, but feels flimsy.. i might have to change that one day. The neck is straight and the bridge looks and feels solid and well made.

If you are looking to buy a quality guitar without breaking the bank, definitely buy an Epiphone Les Paul Studio!! Mine was a Refurbished guitar and it was still amazing. I suppose it was a refurb because there was the slightest surface scratch near the tuners. Hardly noticeable. Again, I highly recommend this guitar. I am a guitar teacher and will recommend this guitar for not only beginners but long time players as well! It would make an excellent back up guitar, if not your primary guitar!

From some of the other reviews, I was expecting some real crappy knockoff, not so, my friends! This guitar is brand new.This is the first guitar i've ever purchased online, and i was a bit nervous about that, but i was very pleasantly wowed! I got the arctic blue, and the pics don't do it justice. This is also the first guitar that hadn't been banged around on in a music store, so it doesn't have scratches and dings from that. I don't understand anyone complaining about a LP, that looks plays and , yes, sounds like a LP! Why would you expect expensive strings fom a factory? I've purchased Many,many guitars of all kinds, and this is my first LP. I'm starting to see why some people won't play anything else! Buy this NOW!
