This Seagull Cameo is a cutaway dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar that matches flame maple back and sides with a select solid spruce top. This guitar also features a high-gloss custom polished finish. The result is a bright sound with lots of projection. The Cameo is a great performance guitar that works well on stage with on-board LR Baggs i-Beam electronics installed.

The new compound curve top concept was originally developed for the Seagull Artist Series guitars and it is in these models that the new design really proves itself. The Artist Series luthiers choose from the very best of a stockpile that includes over a hundred thousand, luthier-grade, solid cedar and spruce boards. In fact, all of the tone woods for the Artist Series are hand-selected to ensure that the very highest standards are met. The scalloped bracing is designed to such precise tolerances that it requires a CNC milling machine to carve the individual pieces to the exact specifications. The finished instruments speak with incredible clarity and character — and that's before they open up. These guitars develop an even deeper character when played-in' and will no doubt become lifelong companions to those who choose them.

LR Baggs has pioneered the concept of combining an undersaddle transducer (Ribbon Transducer) with a revolutionary bridge plate transducer (iBeam). The i-Beam Duet blends the iBeam and Ribbon Transducer signals with an onboard preamp featuring a very sophisticated set of controls for mixing and equalization. This is the ultimate in onboard acoustic amplification.
