The Behringer GM110 V-Tone Combo Guitar Amp is a natural for practice, warm-up, rehearsal, or recording. Its 3 amp models and 3 speaker simulations are all based on pure analog circuitry with no digital components. As a result, the GM110 gives you 27 authentic basic tones supported by a 10" speaker and Behringer's DYNAMIZER circuitry.

Vintage-style controls give you drive, 3-band EQ, and level; and 3 slide switches for amp, mode, and speaker selection. A serial effects loop lets you add outboard processors or effects, and a full DI out with XLR connector and ground lift lets you deliver the full preamp sound including all amp, mode, speaker, drive, EQ, and level settings for recording or connection to an external power amp. A speaker out automatically mutes the internal speaker.

GREAT PRACTICE AMP

I have had this amp since I started playing (about 3 years) and its been absolutely great for what I need. It's great at home: you can turn the volume down low and you can plug in headphones. I use it for jamming with drummers, and i can get great louder volumes too. It has great sounds. I use it with an Epiphone Les Paul Custom and it sounds excellent. The only downside to this amp is that it doesnt have any effects, not even reverb, which i tend to need a lot. If you need a good practice amp at a good price, this is the amp for you.

I saw the price on this amp and the previous reviews and couldn't help but try it out. I just got it and plugged it in and WOW. For the price this little thing is amazing. They really did an excellent job recreating the sounds that you would expect from their description. I've seen a few negative reviews, but if you have a clue how to dial in an amp to find the tone you're looking for this thing is second nature. I had found several settings within the first 2 or 3 minutes that I would say rival the tones I get out of my Vamp Pro. Plus having the effects loop really makes this an expandable amp. The only downfall I've found so far is that when you crank it up, if you don't roll back the lows your sound will break up a bit, but the speaker out for an extension cabinet could solve that problem. I imagine this amp paired with an open back 2X12 cabinet would blow you away.

Nothing in it's class can compete

Not even tube. The price and performance destroys the competition. The sound, response and durability of this amp makes it superior to everything else on the market within it's class/specs. The gain stages stack one on top of the other just like a good tube amp. The volume is outstanding and the preamp controls are hyper sensitive yet smooth like a finely tuned tube combo from the 60's/70's. Even without a pedal to overdrive it, this thing really performs. You can play the most intricate and involved of pieces without needing to overdrive the amp with a pedal for the required sustain and response.

I can not recommend this amp enough for the beginner or seasoned veteran. Put 2 of them together and you could play some fair sized gigs. In the studio it's absolutely priceless. Tell the best of players it's tube and they'd believe it. I will praise these little gems until I'm old and senile.....

I've had this amp since I've been playing guitar which was around 4 or 5 years ago and it's been awesome since. The Best Beginning Amp you Would ever want. The only problem would be size I need something more gig capable since I've started up a band and stuff

Waste of Money

Please don't buy this amp. It's terrible. I've had mine for over 2 years and it's just barely hanging on to life. The strap ripped out in the first couple months of picking it up and taking it to jam sessions. It's not loud at all. The amp models are the only thing that is anything good on it. The rest is cheaply sounding, bad cleans, just bad in general. Blows out a lot in the middle of recordings...just save you're money and get something a little better. Honestly you'll thank me later.
