If you want a vintage sound for your guitar this is it,it has the best of both worlds,Octave-fuzz. You can use it together or separate, if you like "The Band of Gypsys", "Jimi Hendrix" or Joe Satriani this will be the answer. when i use this pedal it transports me to the Psycodelic era. for more effectiveness use your neck pick-ups. I love this pedal since I got it the first day.

Construction wise, this pedal is built like a tank. The fuzz/gritty overdrive section of the pedal is a very tiny bit lack luster, hence the 4.5, but once the octave-up section is engaged it completely makes up for it. The octavio can be heard anywhere on the neck, works best on a neck pickup.The bright and fat switch is superb, and very thoughtful. Overall, if you are looking for a nice analog octavio pedal, you should select and purchase the Ultimate Octave by Fulltone.

This is a great octavio-type pedal, but Its a little too expensive for what it does. This pedal has a great fuzz tone, and then (to make things a little more chaotic) a another button to dial in an octave up! this pedal is sooo cool, and the octave up adds so much to the fuzz, and its great that it has two switches so you can isolate the fuzz. But this pedal cannot go totally clean.
