I bought this guitar at the same time as I got the RBX bass and RGX guitars by Yamaha, and this is my favorite of the three. The body is similar to that of an Ibanez SZ, but the pickups on this Yamaha are much better. Great for anyone looking for a double humbucker guitar with a set neck and good sustain.

I've had this for about 6 months now, and it's been great. Very tone to it, the pickups are surprisingly clean and fairly sensitive. It came well set up from the factory and well put together, nothing loose and everything flush fitting. I wish it had coil-tapping, but you can't have everything, especially at this price. The neck is pretty thick, about as thick as the neck on my bass actually, and it weighs about as much as my bass as well, maybe more, I've never checked. So this isn't the guitar that should interest smaller people. The tuners make string changes a pain, but otherwise hold tune very well. I would strongly recommend this guitar to others, it was well worth the price.

I got this guitar about three weeks ago and I can't find anything to complain about really; If your looking for a hybrid cross between a Les Paul and a Strat then here ya go. Action is supreme, neck is straight and the finish is excellent; Took the cover plate off of the back and inspected the wiring; precise. Body cavity is properly shielded and electrical components are clean and quality. As for the sound I would say it comparable to my Les Paul. Really for what it's worth: I can't tell the differance between the two and I'm a huge tone freak!!! I just wish it had 24 frets instead of 22. Nice guitar I'm glad I bought it.

This guitar is GREAT for any level of experience. The dual humbuckers are amazing no need to change them. The only thing i dont like is the bridge. if you take it off it gets all messed up. This is my favorite guitar. its better than any Epiphone or Squier out there. BUY IT
