Sounds killer acoustically...

Even BETTER plugged in. The rich, natural warm tones that come from the guitar acoustically inspire writing creativity while the onboard preamp and EQ will blow your mind in any setting. I've owned this guitar for roughly 2 years now and the amped tones would SLAY most Taylors and Gibsons any day. Very pretty, vibrant, natural; no piezo-icky-crunching on glass tones here. If you can't plug in, this guitar holds its own with a mic in front of it as well.

For recording, I've never captured an easier, more evenly-layered acoustic tone. With a creative mix of both preamp and condenser tones, you can get a very interesting combination you wouldn't find else-where.

This guitar stays in tune for days (sometimes weeks), looks great, feels teriffic, and takes a beating. The volume knob on mine became jiggly after a couple months of use but that's nothing at all.

I've played Yamaha's most of my life but have had Gretch, Taylor, and a few other pricey brands but nothing compares. Just buy one.

Awesome Acoustic-Electric

So, I got this guitar about 2 hours ago, and have been playing ever since. I looked around for acoustic-electrics, played a bunch at stores, etc., and found this one as my favorite. It already sounds beautiful, and it's brand new. So, for people looking for a great acoustic guitar that can plug into an amp, I think this is an awesome, and economical, choice. I got mine in sunburst, and I'm loving it.

I bought this guitar a little over a year ago and it has been great. A good sound, great electronics, and nice look make it a great bargain for the price. The only problems I have had were the back of the guitar scratches very easily. Put some elixirs on it and you'll have a great jammin instrument.

This guitar has nice action for both strumming and finger picking. I've had mine for about 6 months and it plays quite nicely for a guitar in this price range. No buzzing frets at all and the tuner and EQ are very convenient and reliable. So far my only peeve is that my A string will sometimes vibrate and cause feedback when jamming at higher volumes. I just turn down the bass on the EQ. But that's about it. Other than that , well worth it.
