I got this guitar as a starter guitar. It is a good quality guitar for the price. It doesnt have the greatest sound though.I have an Alveraz and the sound is close but not as full.

A lovely guitar, really, really great. This is the guitar I used to start learning, and it is immensely helpful for a beginner because the action is low, it stays in tune long, and it has a beautiful, full-bodied sound good for any genre of music. Experts will love it too! It's cheap and it sounds almost identical to some Martins and Gibsons. A must buy.

I've been wanting to learn to play for a while and I got this guitar for my birthday about two months ago. It seems to be very well built for the price and it stays in tune very well. The strings that came on it lasted a while also; I just put a new set on and I've been playing almost every day for 2 months. This is a great guitar if your wanting to learn to play. It stands up to many higher priced guitars, but if you end up losing interest, it won't dig to deep into your wallet.

Where did this TONE come from!?

I actually bought this guitar on my way to teach a guitar lesson because, try not to laugh, I forgot my guitar. I was almost at my student's house when I realized I didn't have it, and I was really close to a guitar center, so I thought, what the heck, I'll just buy one and return it after the lesson.

Well I bought the cheapest most decent sounding guitar in the store, the Yamaha F335, and I could not believe the action and tone coming from this instrument. It REALLY sounds amazing. It sounds like a medium end Martin. I kept trying to return it because I was broke at the time, but I couldn't do it, it just sounds too good. Since then it had become my main teaching instrument and I've even used it in recording session and at gigs where I need a smaller bodied sound. I choose it over my $3000 Lowden sometimes! People listen to it and can't believe it cost me $120 bucks. I could never part with it, and I am constantly telling all my students to get one if they need and acoustic. Per my advice about 5 students have bought one of these guitars and until something else comes along better, I will continue to tell people about it.
