I have owned this guitar for a couple years and am very satisfied, It lacks a little unplugged but plugged in the sound is as good as my Martin HD35. The on board tuner and easy battery access is really a plus. Great on board sound control. Right out of the box the this thing preforms wonderful,the neck and action couldn't be better.

After considering Martin, Taylor, and Takamine, I find this Yamaha to be a great guitar at a great price. Not being able to try one before buying, I ordered this model based soley on reviews and Yamaha's reputation. I am very pleased. Balanced tone projects very well unplugged. The 3-Way A.R.T. preamp works great and gives you any sound you want. A soundhole cover is included. I bought the Brown Sunburst finish based on the photos and it is flawless. Setup included installing a set of Martin extra lights and a slight truss rod adjustment.

This guitar is so high end it could easily sell for twice the price and still be a good deal! This guitar sounds amazing and feels so nice in Your hands, I would not be suprised if Your playing improves just from stepping up to this caliber of instrument. Do not even think twice order it now! I guarantee in 30 days You will be so satisfied that the thought of returning it will make You laugh! Looks Great,plays great,sounds great plugged in or not. The built in tuner and three pickups with total control are just the icing on the cake. This is a true gem.

Sounds great plugged in as the new internal pickup system gives this guitar an edge. With the new system you can adjust the bass/treble output independent of the EQ. As a stand alone unplugged the guitar also sounds incredible. The action is perfect. Before I purchased this guitar I played Taylors, Fenders and Tak's at the local guitar shop and always came back to this Yamaha. Excellent guitar, I would have paid more.

I own a nice Taylor and I just found it's mate. This is a fantastic guitar that I am completely in love with in everyway. Look, feel, sound, electronics, TUNER built in to "ANY KEY" you wish, not just to key of E tuning...Great buy! LOVE IT!
