The overall build and materials quality is very good, neat and clean inside as well.

The ovangkol body and cedar top woods are much better looking than the photos would suggest. Nice details include the rosewood binding on the body and an attractive rosette pattern.

While not high end in appearance the tuners are smooth and don't slip.

Note that the fingerboard does not appear to be ebony as sometimes advertised, but rosewood. The fingerboard is slightly narrower and neck slimmer than some, but plays easily so no complaints. The classical action, however, may seem a bit awkward to steel string players.

With a compensated saddle the intonation is spot on. The setup required no adjustment.

The tone is well balanced with an open resonant shimmer in the overtones. When playing at or above the seventh fret, the sound is strong and liquid. The guitar has a fairly decent dynamic range with surprisingly good projection.
