The most sought-after and corpulent Way Huge pedal is back! The Swollen Pickle MKII surrenders super high-gain fuzz with copious amounts of smooth low-end to all who dare plug into it. With a twist of the Sustain control, you're taken from mild crunch to Armageddon. The Filter control retains its trademark insane range of heavily band-pass-filtered tones, distinguished by remarkable girth and sizzle, and the Loudness puts out enough volume to clobber any amp. Updated features include a tone stack Scoop control that elicits classic Swollen Pickle guitar pedal mid-scoop or a flat mid-frequency sweep, and a Crunch knob to adjust the compression intensity of the fuzz. Finally, under the hood, the Swollen Pickle MKII pedal has two internal mini controls; Voice sets the intensity of the external scoop control from light to heavy mid-cut and Clip varies between two sets of clipping diodes from light to heavy mid cut, and Clip varies between two sets of clipping diodes for smooth or opened fuzz sustain. A charter member of the Way Huge line has returned, and just like when it debuted in 1997, it still has "more fuzz than a moldy peach!"

Each effect pedal has been rigorously tested to ensure quality, durability, and reliability and will deliver many years of exceptional performance. All pedals feature: heavy-duty footswitch with quiet relay-based true bypass, blue LED indicator, 2.1mm power jack with AC protection, easy access (non-detachable) battery door, super-duty .09 aluminum anodized chassis, high grade components, great tone and cool name.

Launched in 1992 by Jeorge Tripps, Way Huge Electronics began as a result of Tripps' search for great tone, and his desire to perform with reliable, rugged and pedalboard-friendly effects that had the magic of his coveted vintage pedals. The very first pedal simply labeled "Fuzz Box" was quickly followed by such staples to the product line as the Red Llama Overdrive, Foot Pig Fuzz and Green Rhino Overdrive II, which quickly found their way into the hands and onto the pedalboards of the world's guitar elite. Ensuing years would see the introduction of pedals such as the Swollen Pickle Jumbo Fuzz, Aqua-Puss Analog Delay, and the Saffron Squeeze. Over the span of a few years, Tripps helped revolutionize what would later be known as the 'boutique' effects market. In late December 1999, the company closed its doors as Tripps pursued other opportunities, sending demand for Way Huge products soaring, and driving online auctions well into the hundreds sometimes thousands for used Way Huge pedals. Now teaming up up with Dunlop, Way Huge pedals will once again be available to the masses, so all can enjoy their finely tuned electronics, high-grade circuitry and road ready construction, built under the watchful eye of Mr. Huge himself.

Finally a fuzz that satisfies

I've tried every kind of fuzz, and this pedal is hands down the best. It makes you wonder why EH doesn't take some cues and update the Big Muff. This pedal is basically a Big Muff without any of the drawbacks that pedal has. No matter how fuzzy you get, the low end is there for days (unlike the BM wich just becomes unbearable past 12 o'clock). So many fine tuning knobs, you'll never get board with it (still haven't messed with the knobs inside, but I like knowing they are there!) My one complaint is that the knobs are not that sturdy. Accidentaly stepped on the loudness knob and it broke, had to replace it with mxr style knobs from radio shack. Play a pentatonic riff with this pedal and you'll have to have it! If you want something subtle (subtle fuzz?) look elsewhere.

I went in to the guitar store ready to buy a fulltone ocd. I was told it was the "industry top of the line" I decided I would try this pedal just to make sure right before purchasing the ocd. Within 15 minutes I had purchased this pedel. Amazing pedal, great rich tone. If your considering buying any pedal just try out the swollen pickle and I'm sure you will be convinced after just a few chords.

Copious Amounts of Smooth Fuzz

Way Huge's slogan "More Fuzz Than A Moldy Peach" rings true the world over with this pedal. It offers stunning versatility over other fuzz pedals with a grand total of 7 controls. With a few turns of the knobs you can dial in anywhere from a nice warm rhythm to a searing lead tone that insists on free-floating hostility.

Best Fuzz I've Played

This Fuzz dominated. You can get some massive amounts of fuzz whill retaining all the low end you want. The construction is quality, and all knobs are sturdy. I'm running this infront of a THD Bivalve with a custom Strat. It could takecare of everything from Hendrix to Rage. Even though I don't play that much metal, with the adjustment of the crunch switch you can get a heavy compressed fuzz (With massive Bass) that will blow you away. Buy now!
