This is a great guitar. I love the carbon fiber fretboard. I have the metallic green model and it looks fantastic. Washburn has unbelievable customer service. i got a guitar made just for me. I have a high respect for this company. Im also glad i ordered this guitar when it was a thousand dollars cheaper. I think its worth the money i paid for and I'm stunned by the new price tag. anyways i love this guitar if u can play one please do it.

Maybe I got a bad one; that happens, but when I pay this kind of money, I expect WAY better. Cracks in the neck? A toggle switch broken in the case? Only one spring connected to the FR? Pickups adjusted all the way up without a tool to re-adjust? Come on Washburn! EWP= should read "I owned it; returned it for a better guitar company."

Phenomenal Guitar

I have been playing guitar for 20 years now, and have also designed many guitars as a consultant.

The Washburn Wm526 that I own is a very rare black flame maple top black (not in production), however built exactly the same as production Wm526, except it features a Flame maple top on the mahogany body.

The WM526, has a great natural tone, and one of the fastest necks ever with excellent stength due to the carbon fiber fret board (which is slick and fast on bends).

I have been inside the US Music office/USA factory where the WM526 is made. Very clean facility with hard workers. The quality and dedication of their work is displayed in the quality and awesome playability of the WM526

Definitely a great guitar, excellent and fun too play, one of the easiest to play guitars. Great instrument for any style of music that demands excellence in your playing.
