The value for this guitar seems to be too good to be true. Thats is becuse it is. I bought this guitar about 2 weeks ago after using a friend's washburn acoustic-electric. After reciving it I found quickly as did others it need to strings to which I had .11's put on it. Again after playing it more I noticed a "buzz" on the 6th E string. (Guitar player's worst nightmare) After giving it to one of my local music stores to have the action and all of that good stuff done to it, the "buzz" was lighter but still continued untill the action was set so high I nearly broke a finger trying to fret the "E" string. I am now sending it back and DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!!

I was overcome with joy when I ordered it though. So I waited 5 days for it to arrive. I open the box and the first thing I do is plug it in. There is ALOT of treble coming from this thing, on account of it only has One volume and One tone control. I usually turn the tone to about one or two. Ten if I'm live. After unplugging it, I played it like that for several days, and I noticed that has a lot of treble burst and a strong mid punch. (probably due to the shape of the sound hole)with a restrained yet defined bass range. It's fantastic, the projection is high but not overbearing. The one thing I was MOST worried about was INTONATION. Let me tell you, I've never heard such a well balanced and strong E chord. Even with capo and upper fret use, the chords are still in perfect harmony. My previous acoustic guitar lacked in this respect so I gave it to my brother when I got this one. One thing I'm disappointed by is the pseudo-abalone rosette. I hate it.It's some plastic Ring with odd colors. The binding is PERFECT and the tuners hold for WEEKS assuming you don't bend. All in all, simply superfluous for $200. The best deal you could get.

I have owned this guitar for about 1 year. I have owned a handful of "like" guitars and this one is great for the price. Recommend putting new strings that fit your requirements.

This is a wonderful guitar, I have been playing at church for about 2 years now, and this guitar sounds really great. It's very nice looking, the strings that came on it are ok, but I would recommend changing them for better sound. I dont think you'd be disappointed with this guitar at all...

A GREAT GIFT

I am just learning to play guitar now, and someone gave this guitar to me for free. It has a crack in the headstock that is taped up and honestly there is no sound difference at all. I like this guitar better than all my other friends who play, except for a few who have Martins. This guitar is awesome, really easy to play and has a great clear sound to it. It's amazing I got this guitar for free but if it broke I would definitely go out and buy the same one.
