I was surprised by the outstanding appearance right out of the box. Beautiful, and then I tuned it with the onboard tuner, which is the main reason I wanted this guitar(traveler). The first thing wrong was the frets had not been filed correctly, causing scratches to my thumb and forefinger but not deep enough to bring blood, thank goodness! The neck looked warped but needed serious adjusting as all strings had serious vibration. I was really surprised that that it wasn't even close to being set up from the factory. I've played for over 40 years so fixing and setting up is something that's fairly easy for me. After filing the frets, replacing strings, treating the fret board with lemon oil and adjusting the neck--it now sounds quite well. As for a beginner quitar it's OK as long as you can get it set up correctly. Most highly commend the DK20CET. I must have gotten one made on a Friday!haha

Wow. I recieved this guitar today as a present, and I couldn't be happier. The first thing I noticed was the inlay, which was incredible. The tuner is really accurate. I played for awhile with the factory strings, but upgraded to elixers. It sounds incredible now. Plugged in, it sounds great. The action is great, with no fret buzz. The finish is a little cloudy in places, but its not all that noticable and does not affect the sound.

Wow, for the price this is a really great guitar, no probmlems but one, I was having some trouble with the 9th fret but other than that this is a really nice guitar and nice finish on the edges. I reccomend this to anyone, and the tuners really comes in handy also, and it sounds great its pretty wide which gives it a deepers sounds and very nice, so if you are wondering if you should get this, I would say yes!
