Excellent Value for an Entry Classical

I've played steel string acoustic for a few years and had become interested in playing flamenco or classical types of music. This guitar is a good buy for the $. I tested a few that sounded better, but they were also several hundred dollars more. The tuners are a little loose, but not so bad that its out of tune all the time. There's some fret buzz, but again, its negligible. All in all, its not really something you'd use in a concert setting, but a great inexpensive piece to learn on. I'm extremely pleased, and recommend it to anyone just starting out on the classical.

TOTAL JUNK

I've been a big Washburn fan for a long time. Now I know this isn't a high end piece, but this thing is just total junk. The tuners are horrible, loose as can be. The guitar won't stay in tune for anything in the world.

This thing reminds me of one of those cheap plastic kiddie guitars your parents used to buy you as a kid.

All I can say is I am surprised at the very poor quality of this guitar. I've had it for two hours now and I've already put it in the RMA request.

The good thing about this guitar is that it isn't expensive. And even if you feel like it is, trust me, it's worth every penny. This guitar can play anything. And I mean that. I let my friend play it for like 5 minutes, and he loved it. Whether you want to play classical, or just some nirvana, you can achieve it with this Washburn. It gives a nice round(but not too round)and elegant sound. Even if you play just a random finger exercise, you'll feel like "woah.... THAT JUST HAPPENED."This guitar definitely surpassed my expectations, so I strongly recommend it to anyone who is beginning to learn guitar. Or if you just enjoy guitar. I hope I've been of help, because I know what it's like looking for a good quality guitar that isn't pricy. I really do think though, that theWashburn C40 Cadiz Classical Guitar is an awesome guitar.
