The smaller folk-style body of the F52SWCE makes this all solid wood Washburn guitar perfectly suited to delicate finger picking or the strummed accompaniment of singer-songwriters. A lot of guitar for the money

I bought this guitar 1 month ago. I could not be happier with my purchase. My other guitar is a Taylor 714 and am absolutely spoiled with it. However, I was looking for a second guitar with a smaller body. I played many before stumbling upon this little gem. You can't go wrong with the price and specs of this guitar. If you are considering, don't hesitate. You won't regret this purchase.

Several months ago, I got in a financial pinch and had to sell my Taylor 514CE. I really liked the size and the shape of the 500 series Taylor and this Washburn F52SWCE caught my eye. I bought one and I don't regret it a bit. The workmanship of this guitar is top notch and the sound whether plugged in and unplugged is absolutely great. I believe it plays better than my Taylor. What a value. This guitar is a keeper....Thumbpickerbob

Sweet sound that will only get better

I've had this guitar for almost 2 years now and I love it! It lends itself very well to both strumming and fingerpicking; I appreciate the BBand electronics (though I wish it had a built-in tuner). The solid wood combination just keeps sounding better and better, and the finish on the neck has become polished with playing and is now the best-feeling neck I've every played. The 18:1 tuners are very stable, and the maple binding adds a natural class to the finish of the instrument. For Taylor 500-series specs on a budget, without compromise - this is THE guitar!

The F52SWCE is a solid guitar - literally. It's built like a tank. The sound is very bright and loud. The action is pretty low. The size makes it suitable for a smaller person. Plug it in and it can really jam. Great as a stage instrument. Too bad the EQ system doesn't come with a tuner. The guitar's features are really great and fancy. It looks expensive but it doesn't cost too much like a Martin or a Taylor, but still it comes from a respectable company. It does not stay in tune as well as my Martin.

this guitar is a pretty good guitar. the only reason i say pretty good is because after about 3 months i got this guitar, the input came out with the cord and all. it was still conected inside the guitar so i was pretty bumed about that, but the sound is great. it has awesome grover tuners but the control pannel is pretty boring. it doesnt have a tuner but other than that and the input, this guitar is awesome.
