Great Guitar

Bought this a few years ago as a beginner, didn't end up seriously playing until this past year. Didn't break the bank, yet still sounds real nice. After four years it will hold a tune for weeks (assuming same temps/humidity). I love it, probably will not need to 'upgrade' for a while.

I bought this guitar recently at a small guitar shop. It is used and the only thing wrong with it is that it has a small dent near the neck, but it doesnt affect the sound at all. I love this guitar. This is the first acoustic I own, but I have played a couple of my friends acoustic's and this one is by far the best sounding and easiest to play. If you are thinking of buying this guitar don't wait it is amazing!

I have to admit that I only chose this guitar because it came with a hard case. But now I am so glad I did, Right out of the box this thing sounded amazing! Not to mention it is a beautiful piece of work. Set up was perfect and the on board tuner was a breeze to master. I would keep light strings on it just because they really resonate off of the soundboard. I havent plugged in yet because amps are hard to come by here in the desert. All in all this was a very pleasant surprise and I am now a diehard Washburn fan.

A joy to play

I rated this guitar in it's price range. I've played acoustics that cost twice as much that don't sound any better than the D10SCE; plugged or unplugged. It sounds very, very good and plays smoothly and easily. It came perfectly set up...that doesn't happen very often. The action is perfect for me. I play a little bit of all styles; fingerpicking (folk/classical), capoed and strumming styles. There are no buzzes anywhere on the neck; I've fretted chords up to the 12th fret and no buzzes. This guitar has a nice, all-around sound. It's not "big and boomy" like a jumbo dred, but it does have a nice balance of "all around punchy sound" without being nasally. Chords ring and individually plucked notes stand out. I love this thing!

Mine came with the newer WT-92 electronics package. The onboard electronics are very nice; tuner is accurate and easy to use. Electronics are quiet and offer a wide range of adjustment thanks to the inclusion of a presence control in addition to the usual B-M-T adjustments. Haven't tried the balanced out, but the 1/4" out sounds great direct in to the board. The tuning heads are smooth and stay in tune. I play in alternate tunings and have no probs. A strap button on the heal would've made this a 5.0 in features. It even comes with a (nice) case...seals the deal!

I bought this guitar a few years back as a beginner guitar. It is a very cool guitar to learn on and even is a pretty good intermediate guitar as well. Now I use it as my take-around guitar so I donīt have to carry around my nicer one. It still works like a charm, sounds good, electronics are great and has really nice looks. Itīs probably the nicest of itīs price range.
