Best OD pedal for money

OK. I have some pretty nice stuff. Boss, Digitech, Fulltone. Believe it or not, I find myself using this pedal more than any other. I don't understand someone saything this is "cheaply made". I find it is quality constructed and has a more desireable tone in certain ranges than any other pedal I own. I think every pedal has a sweet spot. And that sweet spot is different to everyone's ears. I am NOT a give everything all 5's all the time sort of reviewer. I just wrote a scathing review of the Vox Tonelab ST. For the money, this is a terrific buy. And that's how I rate things. If this was a $300 pedal I would mark it down a bit, but for the money, I think it is in "best buy" category.

I've read the mixed reviews and found parts of each that I agree with. The pedal looks awesome, but is big and cheaply made. The switch feels like it's a few stomps away from going. The overdrive does sound pretty good, but there's not a lot of volume with it. I matched it with a Visual Sound Rt 808, and the 808 puts it to shame. More volume, more breakup, way better construction, solid quality, GREAT sound- overall better value.

I like it, I own it. The drive is so smooth. It just found a permanent place on my pedalboard setup. It's nice to look at too.

I bought this thing used. It sounds great. Capable of a light breakup or full on marshall-like roar. It's also awesome in front of an overdriven amp. It's very sturdy and looks awesome, it is a little on the big side but worth the pedalboard real estate. covers blues, rock, and even some metal if tweaked right. rippin'
