The Vox AC15 Classic Custom preserves the tone that made it a rock legend in the first place with updates for more flexibility and control. Master volume and global reverb and tremolo controls have been added, plus a rear panel impedance switch is provided for use with extension speakers. It generates 15W of tube power to drive a 12" Celestion Alnico Blue speaker, and delivers the warm, expressive tone of the original AC15. Tremolo and reverb are footswitchable via the included VF002 footswitch.

Best Practice Amp ever

Wow, this little gem is amazing. I've never hear an amp with this low wattage sound as full and powerful, not to mention SMOOTH. My model is of superb quality and is has very responsive controls. The tremelo and reverb are nice features as weel. However, the reverb is very strong on this sucker, I can only put mine at 3 o'clock. The tremelo has a nice range. It can go from very choppy to barely noticeable, and it has good variety of speed as well. The amp distorts nicely when pushed, and handles other pedals well. All around a great quality amp. Oh, by the way, GO WITH THE ALNICO BLUES!!!

This little vox is amazingly useful. It's small, but can really rip. If you need to play clean then you are covered with this amp, and if you would like more of an over driven sound, just crank up the volume and you will hear that this amp sounds great when loud. I LOVE this thing! It is worth all of the extra money for the Alnico Blue speaker.

I've owned, over the recent past, the following - 1966 Fender Super, blackface, point to point, all original. 1968 Marshall 50, all original, 1968 basketweave cabinet with greenbacks. I mention this because it was my point of comparison. This little Vox is the most useful, amazing sounding amp I have ever owned. I have sold my Super because of how awesome it is. Light, small, cute, but a total ripper. I have never used more useful tone/boost controls, or had more useful tones at all volume levels. Obviously, if your playing out, you need to mike it, but that's what everyone does, now, isn't it? I wouldn't trade it for anything.
