Hands down, this is simply the best amp switching product on the market. The features are everything they claim to be and this surpasses anything else on the market. Hum, what hum ! no pops and effects sound good in front of the device. I play through a Budda superdrive, Fender Twin, Mesa Boogie SOB and 68 Plexi, and one or all the signal is not sucked or diminished. For my non true bypass tuner it is not in the signal chain. This is worth every penny, I couldnt believe my ears.

I am an endorsed Voodoo Lab artist and I just picked up one of these amp selectors - and it is awesome! My use for the amp is to mix two different amps for my live sound; sometimes I use one or the other and there are times when I use both. This pedal works GREAT for this. I have two noisy amps that require a noise suppressor - the isolation is so good on the Voodoo Lab pedal that I can put just one suppressor before the input of the switcher and it silences both outputs. I did have to separate the outputs to 1 and 3 (for some reason using channels 1 and 2 caused some noise issues). I also had to flip a ground lift switch for one amp output to kill some unwanted noise - so the point is, experiment with it if you have issues ... almost assuredly they thought of your issue during design and the pedal will work for you application - you just need to find the right setting.

Loving the new setup - far superior to any other ABY switch on the market!!!

If you are looking at an amp switch, look no further. I had a Morley George Lynch Triple and ended up sending it back. In a nut shell, it SUCKED! The piece of crap caused an obnoxious hum. I tested for a ground loop problem and found none. They tell you to use a Hum-ex to fix the problem. Funny how they sell that item too. Why should you need another devise to fix a ground loop problem? It's because it's a bad design. I read reviews about the Voodoo Lab Amp selector and read nothing but praise. Don't let the price keep you from getting this pedal. You get what you pay for and it's worth every penny! I use it to switch between two amps, a Fender Twin '65 for my clean channel and a Mesa Triple Recto for the dirty channel. It is completely silent. No hum, no noise when switching channels. It has so many possibilities and features, too many to write about. Do yourself a favor. Forget the rest and buy the best! I'm glad I did.

There are a couple of cool things about this pedal you may not know... The outputs can be used in 2 ways. The first is each output works like an effect pedal (push once for on, again for off), the other function is what Voodoo calls "exclusive mode" which is where you can set any output to de-activate all other outputs when engaged. The second is the built in buffer which will keep a consistant load on your guitar and drive the cable lines to your amplifiers regardless of your routing. No more tone destroying cable runs. I recommend this unit over any A/B/Y box made!
