Better Quality than an American Standard Strat

Lets just get this out of the way. Alice in chains is my favorite band of all time and Jerry Cantrell is one of my favorite guitarists. I never actually got to try out this guitar before I bought it. I based it on G&L and Cantrells Reputation. That and a guitar world preview. The Rampage comes with an excellent gig bag of great quality. It even has this meat hook hanger. It's really solid for a gig bag and I don't think I'll replace it with a hard case. The guitar itself is well balanced. About as heavy as an USA Strat. It feels good in your hand and I could play easily. The fret wires seemed kind of big. I never really experiened a guitar that has thick fret wires before and I love it.

The Khaler Trem is amazing. That is what I really like most about the guitar. Like Cantrell I tend to have a heavy hand while using trem bridges I tend to detune while I play by resting my hand too hard on the bridge. This bridge solves that problem by having the front part set still so it doesn't move. The back half does all the bending and it feels good. The only thing I would have liked which I gave the features a 4.5 for is the tremolo bar itself. I wish it was a little higher quality like another floyd I have. The one that has a nut that screws into the bridge and leave the bar to swivel freely.

Amazing guitar. Sounds great and I couldn't ask for a better product.
