Great Guitar

I picked mine up used and what a killer guitar the thing about these Tribute's is they are not really a tele and not a strat and don't sound like either. The pickups are just so different they are single coil but are wound hot, the bridge pickup will get VERY dirty when pushed. These are the same pickups used in the american G&L's and are 100.00 each on G&L's websight. The neck is very easy playing and fast. I re-strung mine with .009's but the factory sets them up with .010's so you have to do a little action adjustment. The sounds you can get out of these is unreal...mine is a basswood body which I would prefer over ash anyways. But anyways great guitar!!!

Plays easily. Feels well-made and solid. Sounds great. Absolutely no complaints. It is an absolute bargain and no-brainer when compared to what else is in this price range.

One of the best kept secrets. These Tributes are not flashy. they are super easy to play, sound great, feel solid, and don't have the quality control issues that seem to plague Gibson or the MIM teles. And you can get them (particularly used) for a steal. I suspect part of the reason is that the teenagers haven't discovered them yet.

Nottin better (for the price)

What a guitar. These pickups are magic...warm, but you still get that great single coil character. The tone is almost bell-like, great for dynamics and note separation. I got the gorgeous blueburst finish. Looks so classy. The tone function is great, u can get so many sounds with just 3 position selector and that tone knob...

My one and only complaint is that the neck/body joint is weak, pull back on the headstock and the neck shifts way too easily, who needs a tremolo bar eh?

Neck is fast and easy to play. I love this guitar. Those pickups...wow!

I bought this guitar to replace a Japanese Telecaster that i sold and i was really impressed with it, but i couldn't keep it in tune and i couldn't get rid of buzzing strings. I took it to a local Luthier and after he gave it a complete set up and did some fret work it plays like a million bucks. The finish is gorgeous and i really like the neck. The neck pickup is week but overall it's nice.
