Perfect travel guitar

I own it for almost a year. It allows to reherse in a room without annoying the family or when traveling as it can be kept in cabin or packed in a car. The design is quite tough and can be packed with other luggage with no fear, the regular size of the neck is very convenient. I Highly recommend it as a travel guitar or second guitar for rehersing when promiscuity is an issue.

Good For traveling

This guitar is good for traveling. The only problem is that the string wrap around behind the pickup and the vibrate when you play and make a high pitched buzz. The knobs also come off easily but that might be because mine is old. It sounds good with a marshall amp and Boss MT-2 pedal but you can get the same sound from a Dean Evo XM. ONLY BUY THIS FOR TRAVELING!!

3 times around the world

I got my Traveler when they first came out. The stethophone hurts my ears (due to pressure not volume). The electronics have got a few crackles and pops due to wiggly wires and the plastic ring around the pickup has a piece that cracked and broke off (still works fine tho). BUT I'd buy another one in a heartbeat if something happened to mine. The full scale/string length is one of a kind for an axe that is so small and plays great. It is truely a God-Send for guitar players that travel. I do electronic repairs on ships and have taken my Traveler guitar around the world with me 3 times (and all over the US). Airport security always asks what it is, they're amazed and I've never had a problem carrying it. Highly recommended!

Great practice guitar

I learned to play guitar on mass transit with this instrument. The stethophone don't hurt if you bend it out a bit. The neck is great and I have played with bands with it if I take a plane trip and don't want to bring an acoustic on the flight. Spectacular design.

My Travel Friend

I am a national sales manager and I do lots of travel across the U.S. Spending many nights in hotels can get old real fast. This guitar is my buddy, I pack a small set of head phones, the Korg Tone Works PX4 and a small MP3 player and I have a whole band in a little backpack. It's size is amazing.Every now and then I get seated in an empty row on a plane and I get to play on the flight. Oh, and it is great to see the reaction of security when you place this thing on the x-ray belt, some scan it more than once - just look at the gig bag :)

Like one of the other writers I was also thinking of changing the single coil for a hot rails. (If you do before me, let me know how it sounds) Only issue I have is the selector switch is broken, easy fix. Other than that, it's a good guitar for the money.
