Everything I've read about AX1500G was good so I bought one and I was pleased. I use it mainly for the effects. The distortions weren't important to me since I use the overdrive of my amp, but they do sound good. It's easy to use and program and it seems to be constructed well. The only complaint I have is that I wish it was a little bit bigger so the pedals would be a little further apart. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

I've had mine for over 6 years and all I have to say is WOW! It's pretty darn good for musicians on a tight budget. The modulations and distortions sound just as good as the expensive processors. You just have to dedicate a couple of hours tweeking and adjusting until you get your perfect sound! I invested the time and the money and I'm so glad I did! Best processor for this price EVER! GET IT NOW!

When I first played it at the shop, I knew I would buy it. Great sound and easy to use once you learn how to get around the presets and go to individual. I can get pretty much any sound I'm looking for and have NO problems with it. One of these days I'll read the manual and figure out how to use the many effects that it's capable of.

A Nice Pedal except..........

Okay before I go ranting with the negative comments I will focus on the pedal's good points first. With it's metal construction it is a very sturdy and durable little piece of equipment, with no need of worry of getting knocked around a bit. As for editing and programming you could not ask for anything better. All knobs and buttons are easliy acessable. With its headphone jack you can practice without the need for an amp, which is great. A built-in tuner is always handy. Now, I have saved the worst for last. I originally purchased this pedal for the main purpose of direct recording into my Tascam Digital Eight Track Recorder. Although the clean sounds are pristine and clear, forget about using distortion/ overdrive. Something to do with the level control that makes that preset sound crackly and full of static and very brittle. Also the factory presets sound very dull. If you want a nice pedal to practice with and maybe even live, then this is the one for you. If you plan to do any direct recording and want distortion/overdrive you might want to try something else.

Probably the best multi-fx...

...at least, the best multi-fx for this price! I checked out a lot of the competition when I bought this (such as the Boss ME-50, the Behringer V-Amp) and this is better in quality and tone. There are many features, so it gets a good mark there, but I'm only giving it an 8 for two reasons:
1. I don't like the wah sound very much- just a personal thing.
2. This pedal is a little noisy with some amps/guitars. Quality-wise...well, this is a Korg product, one of the best manufacturers around, and this lives up to their reputation: fairly heavy, but not too bad, solid metal casing, the expression pedal feels solid, the stomp buttons can take a beating... very well built product overall, and like I said, it's not expensive. Now, I've given it fairly good review, but not top notch because it's a little noisy, and also it took me AGES to work out how to use the thing! I only recently realised I could edit the effect parameters (such as speed of the flanger) easily, having owned it for a year! I'm not the sort of guy who likes to read instruction manuals, but you really should for this pedal! One last thing: THE PRESETS SUCK! Ignore all the presets and get straight down to dialling in your own tones, because the factory presets are terrible!
