The Tech 21 Power Engine 60 is an all-purpose, multi-function, powered extension cabinet. It can be used with any direct recording device or pre-amp, analog or digital, tube or solid state, in stompbox or rackmount formats. When plugging your favorite device into a Power Engine, the tone is unaffected. So there's no need to labor over readjusting all your parameters that would otherwise be colored by a conventional amplifier.

These handsome cabinets perfectly complement the Tech 21 line of Trademark combo amps. The Power Engine 60 will accept XLR and 1/4" inputs and includes a balanced XLR output to daisy-chain' with other Power Engine 60s. Knowing that not all rooms are created acoustically perfect, you can compensate for less than ideal environments by adjusting the on-board, active three-band EQ.

With ground-independent inputs and output, there's no limit to how much power you can have. You can chain hundreds of Power Engine 60s together to make a giant wall of power (although some might view that as excessive).

Power Engines can also facilitate stereo configurations - with a traditional amp or with a pre-amp and stereo processor.

This is a very nice amp. If you want an amp that can do every tone very well this is it and for the price it can't be beat. Amazing amp. I'm very happy with it. It can get really loud at those gigs too!

This Power Engine amp is the 4x10" version of the single 12". This amp does what your modeler tells it to--flat out! Forget the half-stack whatever.....4x10 is where its at! Its a LOT easier to transport than a 4x12; measuring only 22"x22"x12" and slightly over 40 pounds in weight. I've played a Boss GT and Line 6 XT thru this baby. What chu want? A Marshall, a Mesa, Fenders, Engl's?--That's the power of modeling. Now here's an amp that delivers what your floorboard conjures. This is the most powerful 60 watts I've ever heard. I've ordered another one for 120 watts stereo!!! That's 8x10 stack, open back! A great rig for large stages and outdoor gigs, yet small enough for the load in and the load out. Your lower back will thank you. You will appreciate the ear candy! So push the button and spank the plank, you've reached the top of the sonic food chain.

I used to be frustrated with tweaking sounds that sounded great on my headphones but sounded terrible on an amplifier. This powered cabinet is totally transparent and gives you the great amplified sound that you have with your headpones. Use your pod, processor, pre-amp or pedals and this baby will reproduce the sound exactly like you created it. Thank you Tech 21.
