This is a great guitar for the money

If you don't need a pickup, you'll love this guitar. I've owned for a for a while, and my 12-string, Les Paul and another acoustic have been sitting on their stands for months, barely touched. The sound they get out of this thing is excellent- quality has been very good, just remember, if you house is dry, you need a humidifier. Don't let the bad review steer you off, these are well made, very close to full size, and the sound is excellent. It's inspired me to write my own music, and the new tunes keep flowing when I play this thing. Taylor's sound is truely inspirational. Would replace with another taylor same day or same week if this gets crunched by my kids.

Has many problems

Let me first start off by saying that this guitar has no finish.

I got this guitar 3 years ago because it was from a nice brand and played well. Most people said that "you get what you pay for" and because of the price I thought it was a good deal. Boy was I wrong. After two weeks of playing it the action became like an inch off the fretboard and it always seemed to go out of tune. I brought it to guitar center for repair and it cost me $40. It played well for another couple of months and then the action became so low that playing an open string sounded as if it was touching the 3rd fret. (I later figured out that it was touching it) I brought it back and the repair guy told me that it wasn't what they were doing, but that the guitar was EXTREMLY sensitve to humidity and that it wasn't normall for guitars to be this bad.

The greatest guitar I own

I bought this back in January, I play anywhere from 2 to 5 hours a day, and the sound never gets old. With the right strings, this guitar sounds every bit as good as one of the $4,000 Taylor's. The only bad thing is that it's not acoustic/electric. So I can't record with it. But that problem can be solved by buying an electric pickup.

I bought this guitar for a backup / camping guitar. It blew the other acoustics in this price range out of the water! It's not as warm as my Martin 000, but it plays great, sounds nice and bright and you can't beat the price. Definitely one the best acoustics made in Mexico!

Played this a while back. I wish they had this guitar when I first started. This guitar has great tone for the money. Very comfortable to play given it's slightly smaller size. I may purchase one down the line as I just purchased the 210e a few months ago. This is an excellent guitar for the price. I'm very much into finding cheaply priced guitars that have great sound quality. This is it. Taylor will have my business for a long time if they continue their ways.
