The 810ce Acoustic-Electric Guitar is irresistible. The figured maple binding is a gorgeous upgrade that complements the beautiful hues of rosewood and the sparkling inlay work. The Indian Rosewood used for the back and sides of the 810ce guitar seems like it was created to be on a guitar with its clarity, balance, sustain, and excellent bass response. When paired with Sitka spruce, it is an unstoppable combination in this assertive dreadnought body style. Other features of this outstanding instrument include a bound neck, an Indian rosewood headstock overlay, 800 series fingerboard inlays, an abalone rosette and a Venetian cutaway.

Using propriety pick-up technology developed at Taylor, the expression system amplifies your guitar with an unrivaled natural live sound. On-board tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified sound

This is an amazing guitar. I had always dreamed of owning a Gibson, and when the time came, I picked this one up. I strummed it once, and that was it! The sustain is amazing, and it projects. The action is perfect, and has the greatest blend of tones out of any on the wall I played. (Other Taylors, Gibsons, and Martins) If you are looking for a guitar that warrants its price, try playing this one. I promise you will not be disappointed.

This is a great price for the 810. You can't buy a better guitar. The 710 series and up from Taylor is impossible to beat. I've been playing professionally for 18 years and have no greater praise for any guitar than Taylor. I like the comment in the last review, that since these are hand made guitars, each one is a little different, and you do need to play them to figure out which one is just right for you. Don't worry, playing a bunch of Taylors is far from being a chore!

I actually didn't buy it from here, I bought it from a friend. I just figured I'd put my input. It sounds absolutely amazing both plugged in and unplugged. I also have an Ibanez EP9 (Steve Vai acoustic) and honestly this Taylor blows it out of the water. The Expression system is a great pickup and the Indian Rosewood gives it a great balanced sound. All my friends love it and it really is a great guitar, both looks and sound. Worth every penny.

Absolutely amazing guitar!!! This price isn't bad either. I just don't know about shipping, that's scary but I guess it's gotta get shipped out of the factory anyway. Amazing Guitar! Glad I went with Taylor.

I was searching for the perfect Taylor guitar for months. I came across a 710CE that I really liked but I passed it up. I really regretted that decision, and I wasn't sure I was going to find another one like it. I called around and finally found a dealer that had the 810CE that I was looking for. Wow.

Incredible sustain. Rich, tone. I went for the dreadnought body, because I enjoy full bass sounds, yet a versatile tweak-able tone. This guitar is absolutely BEAUTIFUL looking as well, and plays equally as good. It was expensive, but something I will own and cherish for the rest of my life. If you're a guitarist looking for a professional instrument that is worthy of gigging and recording alike, try this guitar!
