Whether you're picking or strumming, the Taylor 210e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar responds especially well. A solid spruce top delivers the lively, defined sound Taylor is known for while the laminate Indian rosewood back and sides give this acoustic-electric dreadnought powerful projection and depth. ES-T electronics and a Taylor-devised active preamp provide great plugged-in tone and volume. The result is a high-fidelity, low-impedance signal for clear, acoustic amplified tone. Mahogany neck, ebony fretboard, and a 25-1/2" scale. A durable varnish finish offers protection, good looks, and a smooth feel.

A traditional shape refined, Taylor's dreadnought combines classic volume and bass response with the definitive Taylor sound: clear trebles and an open, airy midrange.

Bad Neck Sent Back

Bought the guitar and right out of the box it had a warped neck. I tried it plugged in and it sounded ok, a bit thin, had to eq the bass all the way and turn down the highs. Still had a high ringy sound to it. It played ok other than the warped neck. I then switched to a Breedlove J350, what a difference, the Breedlove will blow the Taylor 210 out of the water, full sounding with great bass.

KC Beck plays Taylor

My name is KC Beck I am a country singer/ songwriter. I have played a bunch of guitars. Ovation, Applause, Fender, Ibanez, Tacamine, Gibson, Santa rosa, and Washburn. All sound good but when I picked up my first 110, and 210 Taylor I was shocked, the resonance was brilliant. I need a great guitar for the studio, and Taylor is that guitar. There is a good reason why every studio guitarist in Nashville has one.

Taylor rocks, and you should too. Want to rock get a Taylor.

Very Good Guitar

Really good, full sounding guitar. I have been playing for around 3 years and I wanted to save up and buy a quality acoustic guitar that would last me a long time. So far this guitar has not let me down. It can probably hold its own fairly well with the higher priced taylors, martins, and takamines. This guitar is VERY bassy. If you've played a lot of acoustic guitars you may know that some are very bright sounding and some have more bass. This one sounds very good but leans a little more on the bassy side of things. It's not a bad thing but some people may not like that sound. Overall a great guitar. I really like the action on it and the neck just fits my hand perfectly. Also for those who may be wondering, there is no gloss top on this model, however I have accidentally hit mine on the top a few times and its not that easy to scratch. Mine still looks brand new. Hope this helps!

Best Sounding acoustic I have ever owned!

I have got to say if you are looking for a wonderful sounding acoustic then this is it. I have owned several acoustics like Martin and other Taylors and Washburns but none of the ones even the more expensive Taylor I owned compare to this one. It is like angels have come down out of Heaven and sing with this instrument as you play it. It sounds amazing plugged in too, I write and record alot and produce my own songs and plugged in this guitar sounds so good I don't even have to put any effects on it.

210e

I was looking for an acoustic guitar in the price range of up to about $700-$1,200. I had tried out just about every fender, taylor, gibson, and even martin in that range. I fell in love with the taylor 210e and got away with about $400 extra that i was willing to spend. The smooth action and crisp sound quality with booming bass out of the box are unlike any guitar in the price range. This guitar really gets noticed in front of a croud despite its affordability. I would easily have paid the $1200 i was willing to spend on this guitar.
