Back Back, Closeup

The full-sized, solid spruce top and sapele-body of the Taylor 110e Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar delivers the Taylor guitar experience with a lively tone. Laminated sapele back and sides and a solid spruce top make for crisp and well-defined sound in this versatile mid-priced guitar. ES-T electronics and a Taylor-devised active preamp provide great plugged-in tone and volume. The result is a high-fidelity, low-impedance signal for clear, acoustic amplified tone. A durable varnish finish offers protection, good looks, and a smooth feel.

A traditional shape refined, Taylor's dreadnought combines classic volume and bass response with the definitive Taylor sound: clear trebles and an open, airy midrange. Dreadnought guitars respond especially well to flatpicking or light-to-heavy strumming.

I bought mine a few months back and it hasn't even brought a problem to me yet. I beat around with it a lot and its not even dented. It has crisp highs and lows and I would recommend this guitar to anyone.

Martin fan, by far. Bought a 110 after trying out several much higher dollar guitar alongside it. Gibson, Martin, Breedlove etc..Action is great, sound is very crisp and clear acoustically. Amplified, the sound is basically the same. You have a little more bottom end amplified than you do acoustically but that's it. I never have to use a soundhole cover, no feedback problems. The wood seems prone to dents and all but I play fairly hard and haven't had a dent or any kind of mark on it so far and I play it six nights a week and use a loop pedal (BEAT on the guitar for drum sounds). Simply stated, great sound, great neck, no complaints.

This is a really nice guitar for the money, it seems like it should cost at least a thousand... crisp highs, warm lows... just wow. I actually played a gig with it tonight where I had to run it straight through a PA with no DI box or anything, and it sounded fantastic. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice guitar but doesnt want to blow a lot of money. The only real quarrels are that A: The wood is really nice and "soft", and seems like it would dent really easily... however, I don't know, since I've never done anything like that to my "baby". Also, the electronics stopped working suddenly tonight, but I'm pretty sure that that's only because a wire's loose. Great guitar!

This is my first acoustic that I have purchased with my own money. I have played many different styles and brands of guitars from little Washburn's to Artist edition Taylors and everything in between. In my opinion Taylor is the top acoustic guitar you can get without paying the ridiculous amounts of money for studio guitars. The 110e with the dreadnought body produces beautiful full tone, even for the "low end" of the guitar line-up. Definitely worth every penny, for those beautiful crisp highs and lows that don't get muddy.

I purchased this guitar a couple months ago and fell in love with it. The tone it produces for the small price you pay really is amazing.
