TP4T electronics generate realistic acoustic tone for accurate amplification. The large cutaway dreadnought body and spruce top crank out bold volume acoustically. Added warmth comes from the mahogany back and sides. The rosewood fretboard and gold tuners add a touch of visual class and smooth playability.

I'm 17, self taught and have been playing for about 2 years. I was interested in getting a new guitar for a while, but lacked funds. But as soon as I picked it up, I knew I wanted it. It sounded amazing, there are a few marks on it (but I don't mind!) and the price was amazing! A FANTASTIC BUY!

Takamine G series Guitar

I bought a G series Takamine guitar privately and I found out why the seller, (a woman) probably wanted to sell it. The sound was great but the set up was terrible. The bridge is factory mounted much too high for playing comfort. I immediately removed the strings and lifted out the bridge to get at and remove the shims from under the bridge. Then I adjusted the neck via the adjusting rod to make it straighter. The guitar now plays much softer and easier which it should have been set up like in the first place. I see many guitars at music stores that are set up the same and I think they actually discourage buyers by having them hard to play when trying them out. After playing guitars, Fenders and Gibsons, that are a pleasure to play, I would not want to play something set up that badly.

I got this guitar a few months ago, and I'm blown away. I like the way this guitar plays better then some guitars that cost thousands. Besides that, the finish looks great, but if I had it my way, I'd have a natural satin finish instead.

They say it's a beginners guitar. Not even close. This comes close to Martins and Taylors I've played. It's probably the best money-to-sound ratio I've ever seen.

I have a friend that owns this and it is not a bad buy. However the Alvarez rd20c is about the same price and it is a solid top. In my opinion the sound is way better. So if you are thinking about buying this check out the alvarez first.
