Great guitar!

I bought this guitar when I started to outgrow my old yamaha that I learned on, and I couldn't be happier! The guitar is perfect for me! The neck is easy and a delight to play on. The electronics sound great! And the tone that you get is one of the best that i've ever played-all wrapped up in a beautiful looking guitar! I have no complaints at all except that it does show fingerprints on its dark finish, so bring a rag to gigs! Overall it is a guitar that I would buy again and again!

I have 11 good quality guitars and my Takamine rates along side my Gibson and my old 56 Gretsch accoustic. I'm not completely satisfied with the electronic out put under amplfication. Could someone help me select a string type or a good amplifier to improve the reproduction. Thank you

Awesome Guitar for the Money

I bought this guitar new and it plays great. It has the warm tone of a $3000 guitar. The neck is great and plugged up to a Marshall valvestate amp of mine it sounds beautiful. I had a little bit of trouble with the tuner when I first got it but did some online research and got everything working fine. Overall it is a fabulous guitar and I wouldnt trade it for several Martins and Taylors I've played for the money. The guitar itself is gorgeous but the only downfall is it shows any smugges and fingerprints like all other black/sunburst guitars do which isnt a big problem for me since I wipe it down after every use. Wonderful guitar that I recommend to any skill level guitarist!

I am a professional musician and have owned and used this model Tak for about 8 years. This is the finest steel string acoustic I own. I have used it on many gigs and it has never let me down.

Takamine hits a home run!

I play this one at most of my live shows and I cant believe how warm and clear it sounds. It sounds great through a Rivera acoustic 40 Watt amp, I have played this with the " Cool Tube" pre amp and I prefer the standard pre amp that comes with it over the CTP-1. Hope you will enjoy this as much as I do.
