Amazing guitar for at an affordable price!

Purchased this guitar back in December 2006 and what a great decision that turned out to be. This guitar is a cannon and easily contends with any high dollar guitar in todays market. It's versatility is where this thing beats other guitars out. Whether you are flatpicking, strumming heavily, or playing softly, it resounds and responds with great accuracy. Another Pro is the on board electronics. I lead worship for a church and guys with $5,000 custom made taylor guitars have commented on how rich and warm this thing sounds through a PA system. That has to say something. This guitar is something special and has only improved in sound as the years have passed. Turns out they are discontinuing this model. If you are in the market right now you can't beat this price. Do something smart and check this thing out, you will not regret it.

If you are looking for quality craftmanship you must find out where the product was made. Don't settle for "Made in China". This Takamine is really beautiful. Made in Japan, you can see and hear the difference.

I had been looking for an acoustic-electric, and when I saw this one, I figured I would give it a try, and am I ever glad that I did. The sound is amazing. I have a Taylor 310 and a Martin D15, as well as a Gibson Les Paul, and an Epiphone Dot flameburst. I have also owned Fender Strats, Teles, and meny other guitars over the years. The sound and ease of play of this Takamine rivals any of them. It sounds great unplugged, and only gets better through the amp. For the special price that it is at right now, I don't know how anyone could come close to the value with anything else. If you have been looking for an acoustic-electric, buy this one before they are gone.

The best $$ you will ever spend on a guitar

I was looking at this guitar after reading such great reviews elsewhere. I checked other sites and then came to MF where I was astounded to find this Tak for cheaper than I could find it for anywhere else. Even used, people were asking $50-100 more than what I paid. As it turns out this model is being discontinued, hence the super low price. GOOD. You cannot beat this guitar for this price right now. You couldn't beat it at $150 bucks more... and it contends with the big dogs costing thousands. I prefer the stripped down and simplistic appearance. It's almost a signature I've developed in my gigging as every acoustic I've been on stage with has had the same simple appearance. 100% satisfied. Recording a song in a matter of minutes with my new Tak, right out of the box!

Just got this in today, picked it up on my lunch break and was barely able to put it down to go back to work. This thing sounds and plays BEAUTIFUL. Don't even hesitate at this price, just go for it.
