I got my 132S second hand... I'd have a jam session at work over lunch... a gal (co-worker) that had studied guitar as a kid brought the Tak in, asked me to tune it, then came back later and had me change the strings and play it some more... After a couple of weeks of bringing it by she told me to make her an offer... I could only offer her a pittance and told her it would be in my collection till I died... apparently that was good enough, since I've had it now for almost 20 years... It's a dream to play... and the Rosewood/Ceder tone has to be heard to be believed... I'm usually a tech/sound guy even though I've been strumming guitars for the last 40 years... but one of my performing friends has reserved time on my Takamine 132 for a studio recording of a song he thinks will go great with it's sound. Unfortunately, my wife and kids grab for it first... even though I got a Baby Taylor to distract them... it's SOOO easy to play... It's the one guitar in the collection that will never be sold...

After 30 years away from music I decided to recover my lost skills, and this guitar has inspired me to do so. I tried over 30 different models and picked this Takamine for its easy action and gorgeous sound. I have no idea whether this is best in class, but I have found it to be easy to play, very well made, great sounding with quite a rich tone, as well as a great value for the money. I would recommend it highly.

Love this guitar. Have been playing mine since the early 80s for joy and for money. Though battle-worn, it still plays with the same warmth and precision as when it was purchased.

This truly is the best-sounding guitar I've played that has not come from a private luthier. It is by far the best buy in the low-end classical line.
