A built-in 300-volt power supply takes the whole effect to the next level, powering a T-Rex tube that adds voluminous, earthy warmth to incredible detail and spacious true stereo.

Mix, high cut, and stereo out
To shape your sound further, the RoomMate features a mix control and a high cut knob for increasing definition or backing off on the highs, vintage style. And there is naturally a stereo out for the studio or stereo live situations.

T-Rex is known for high quality pedals, and this is no different. It`s a digital reverb with high voltage running to the tube for warmth and increased headroom before clipping. It`s also true bypass I believe. More than a great reverb for guitar and remember, you get what you pay for.

Reverb stompboxes emulate reverb, while I believe the Room-Mate physically creates it. Tube reverb, although vintage, is the warmest.

This pedal is like comparing tape to digital - there are goods and bads in both. One con in the Room-Mate is that there is no new-age RV-5 modulation, no landscape ambience, just very clean tube verb.

It's a very balanced pedal, most T-Rex are somewhat overpriced, but it won't break like the Verbzilla, or any Line 6 pedal with the circuit board built directly under the stomp switches. It will last and give you tube verb, IF that's what you're looking for. Otherwise, get the RV-5.

It makes a big hiss when you plug it in. It makes an even bigger hiss when you try and step on it.

Useless as a stomp box, and a ripoff considering teh price tab.
