The ND-1 Nova Delay raises the bar for guitar effect pedals and redefines what it means to be "state-of-the-art". It's built upon the legacy and knowledge of TC's world-renowned TC 2290 Dynamic Digital Delay.

With 6 different stereo delay types and the option to store up to 9 presets customizable by an array of style parameters ranging from vintage tape to digital delay. This effect pedal easily serves all delay requirements of modern guitar players who seek unique sounds.

Each of these types can be modified with a delay style a unique feature of ND-1 Nova Delay that allows you to mix and match your delay type and style infinitely.

With the ND-1 Nova Delay, both single delay and dual delay lines can be applied to any type and style using the tap tempo switch or delay time knob to determine the delay time that ranges from 1 to 2290 ms.

Three different types of modulation (light, medium and heavy) can be applied to any of the delay types a feature originating from the TC 2290 Dynamic Digital Delay processor.

The all-new Audio Tapping technology enables you to set the tempo of the delay by playing a rhythm into the pedal while holding down the tap tempo switch. You can now set the tempo of the delay using your most important asset: Your playing.

Other great ND-1 Nova Delay features include the pedal's ability to choose between ms (milliseconds) and bpm (beats per minute) readout, decide if you want spillover on individual settings and turn global tempo where tap tempo determines delay time on user presets on and off.

When I purchased this unit I was doing it to replace my dl4. Wow!!! What a difference. What an awesome sounding echo unit! I have now retired my dl4 to my teenage son and along with a deluxe memory man have added this to my rig with probably the best sounding digital delay that I have ever played or heard. This unit in conjunction with reverb, compression through an AC30 captures a very, very sound U2 tone. If that is what you are looking for you will find it here!

...and it can do more than that, if you use the color-button.I use it live and in the studio,and you can get anything from crystal-clear delay to a more vintage-sound.Once you fiddle with it,you get into the controls and its easy to change annd alter the sounds on the fly.The subdiivision-button in combination with the tap tempo is awesome. Bottom line: Great sound-quality,easy to use (after some trying),no problems after almost a year, I love it!

i have ownd this unit for about a year and it hasn't failed me yet. i play in a christian worship rock band and i use the modulate settings alot. it's verry important that i use good sounding delay pedal in my rig and this does just about everything my old line 6 echo park does minus the noise. oh and dont worry about the price beucase this is built like a tank. worth every penny. if your looking for a warm digi delay this is your ticket.

I bought this unit in Feb. 2008 after 2 Boss DD3's failed in 2 months. This unit sounds fabulous! It takes a bit of time to get the controls mastered but with a little time and a close read of the owners manual it's pretty straight forward. Some say that it sounds dead and sterile....not so at all. This delay is a GIGO (Garbage In Garbage Out) type unit. If you send Garbage in one end you will most definately get Garbage out the other. On the other hand if you input some solid playing and the controls are set properly, the output is pure beauty. It's a very nice , warm sounding sounding device, maybe a bit overpriced in todays market, but surely one of the best sounding, most versatile delay pedals I've ever owned.

For all the features it has, I'm surprised how easy it is to use. Very simple to program and toggle between presets. You can go from manual to preset mode by holding down the on/off switch for a few seconds. You can toggle between presets by hitting tap tempo once and then on/off immediately after that. If you use only 4 presets, you can program it to scroll through only those 4 presets (or however many you use). Completely user-friendly and customizable. The sound is fantastic as well.
