I am very impressed with this guitar. I have read that Squier has come up several notches with their quality and I have to agree. This model is labeled made in India. Well they know how to make a great guitar. I have a Clapton signature and a standard MIM strat and this one is right up there with them. Feels great, plays great and sounds great. A great value for the money.

I've always loved Stratocasters. I tried this out at the amazing crossroads music shop in delaware. I pluged it into a frontman 25R put it in drive and wow. I got an amazing rock tone, I love it perfect for any music. Period. Amazing feel and incredibly fast neck. Great for power chords, I'm gonna buy it. Buy it if you want the best guitar ever!

I have the sunburst color guitar and I must admit it looks great. I have had this guitar for a year. It was great when I first got it. But now there is this weird humming noise coming every time I strum the d string. It is coming from the inside. If you want long lasting value stay away.

I bought this guitar, and after I got it home and got the action set up right and the tremolo bridge unscrewed from the body and adjusted, this guitar really performed! Plays like a hot knife through butter, sounds amazing, and looks gorgeous. I got the Metallic Red and the finish is oustanding, as is the gloss finish on the neck and headstock. The workmanship on this guitar is amazing i.e. the neck pocket, frets, etc. Even the volume and tone pots and pick up switch feel smooth and solid. I had certainly never before dreamed of a guitar like this from Squire. In my opinion this model is far superior to the '08 and '09 MIM Standard Strats. I have now recorded with this guitar and the pickups and the guitar's natural tone sound fantastic! I am very pleased with this axe and rdcommend it highly.

If you are looking for a new guitar with a little extra bang for your buck, I think you should check this one out. I have it in the Cherry with flame maple top, it looks damn good. The neck joint was nice and tight, and the pickups give the sound an added edge. I am proud of owning this guitar and love to play it. It will inspire you to take that next step.
