Awsome guitar just bought mine yesterday and I love It! The Duncan Design P-90's with their own indepedent volume and tone knobs are sweet! This guitar brings additude and tone! The sustain the P-90's punch out is everlasting! You can also get a variety of sounds from this Tele!I love it so much my girlfriend is jealous! Squier has made a hit guitar for an affordable price!Thanks~C.J.

Seriously, for $ you're getting a lot of guitar. I love the P-90's. They really make this one stand out. Nice and punchy, with a wider sound than the standard Tele single-coils and a fuller sustain. Individual volume and tone knobs for the pickups really give you a lot of sound to play with, as well. The neck on this thing is a joy to play. Very comfortable and playable. Fit and finish on this was excellent. Playable straight out of the box. A few screws on the pickguard were not in straight, but that was it and it was an easy fix. This is my second foray into the Vintage Modified Series (the first being a Thinline) and I have to give Squier some credit, they are making some really nice guitars for not a lot of money. You can't go wrong at this price.

I wanted a P-90 Tele. I had a good Squire once, and I didn't have a prejudice against them when I got this. As good or better than Epi quality if this matters to anyone. I put some GraphTech saddles on it just for grins. I have a Gibson SG and an American Strat, and I like them both. This Tele is my fourth Tele--a wonderful Peavey Reactor copy, two Fenders, and this Squire. This is more guitar than you pay for, that's all that counts to me. It's a great addition to my rig. AC-15 Vox tube amp with a bit of compressor and I'm happy. Gig worthy.

A chancy buy...

I have wanted a Tele with p-90’s for along time and finally decided to buy this one. Out of the box it was okay. The blond finish is a tad yellow for my taste but it will do. The squire website states the neck is gloss. Mine is satin and had drip marks on the headstock. Not a great start. The body is clean and the buff out is very good. The pick guard looks okay. The screw holes are not countersunk enough to make the screws flush against the top. The neck is really fat. Louisville Slugger fat. It takes some getting used to. The tuners were loose and could not be tightened so when the strings pull against them they lean toward the nut. The pickups are good, the volume and tone controls are mini’s. When you look inside you will find the body is a laminate. I guess you can’t be too choosy. But my Squire Tele thin line is only 50 bucks more and it is way better quality. So after I replace the tuners and controls I may have a good guitar but if you can’t do these repairs spend a little more money and get a better guitar.

I don't own this but I have heard amazing things about it. People have told me that the thick strings are the best part but there is also argument about the pickups. I will defintley buy and find out for myself.
