Great for the Budget Spender

I wanted a guitar that plays well clean. I have others that just do not have the sound that I am looking for. This Squier Tele gives me the sound that I want for a cheap price. This Tele is just as good as the Mexican tele's that I have played. I would suggest changing the strings asap and lowering the action a bit. Overall a great guitar for the budget spender.

Only problem I had was the color. Vintage blonde turned out to be MUCH more yellow than the one in the picture. Its still a pretty sweet color thought.

I've had a Gibson SG Special Faded for a couple years now. I love it. But I wanted a new guitar, i didn't have a big budget. I read reviews on this guitar, and it seemed good. now i know, its pretty amazing. for the price, this is the best guitar I've ever played. by far. it looks amazing, and plays soooo smoothly. If you have the money, buy this guitar right now. thats all I have to say.

Great Tele for the Price

I got a used blonde one ('01 model). I found it in a swap shop for a great price but it really needed TLC. After cleaning it up, tightening the truss rod, restringing and fixing the jack it plays great. This from an 8 year old axe that looked like the owner never wiped down the rosewood fingerboard! It plays great! That's a real testament to the quality of these Teles.

I've got several other Teles - MIM and a USA - and this comes close. You could put on better tuners (although the stock ones work well) - and maybe upgrade the bridge pup. OTher than that it's a keeper! I would gig with this - no problem.

I started playing guitar seven months ago with a Lotus Strat copy. I was fortunate enough to play my friend's American made telecaster, and I was blown away by how it felt in my hands and the sound it put out. I couldn't drop bank on a very expensive piece like his, but I saw this one in vintage blonde at the fire house music store near me and demoed it through their equipment. It sounds great for heavy riffs or just simple melodies and was a solid price. i love this guitar to death. If you need a solid guitar to get started with or you just can't drop half a grand on one pick this gem up.

I've had this guitar for a few months now and I love it. It's probably one of the best sounding guitars I own (not to mention it's my favorite). I highly recomend this guitar.
