I have had my Squier Deluxe Strat (pewter) a few weeks now and it is literally a joy to play. I am a "hobby" level player, but I do know my way around a good guitar. I got to spend all morning comparing this model to MIM (and even a few MIA strats) and the difference between the MIM and this deluxe were just about nil. In fact, in every case the MIM models were in need of some serious set up. The two deluxes I tried were spot on out of the box. The build quality is very comparable, and the sound, well, I happened to like the Deluxe better. Great neck, well dressed frets, and it just feels right. For this price you cannot go wrong.

I Just Got My Deluxe In Pewter Which Is White And I Love It. The Frets Are Flawless And The Pickups Sound Good. It's Very Easy To Play And Will Use It For My Main Guitar. For The Money You Can't Beat It. It's A Great Guitar.

I just got my Deluxe, and I couldn't be more pleased. The fit is great, and the frets are very well dressed for a guitar this price. I found a small piece of dust under the clear coat, but nobody will ever see it. I love the light pearl finish! I am very pleased by the vibrato (I am used to Bigsbys). The Duncan designed PUs are great for now, and I don't need to be in a super hurry to swap them out. I am quite impressed by and pleased with this guitar. I'd say it's a little too good for "students" (as if it's possible to be too good) and just right for modders.

I have had pleanty of fender guitars in my playing days. This one comes as close to the 65 strat as any I have ever played. The only Fender that I like more than this one was my first Mustand that I had in 1966. I would like for the pickups to be a little hotter but for the money you can't go wrong. Looks great and plays great!

It worked great! Until maybe 3 days after it stopped working! I was very upset, I'm guessing its a wiring problem... but idk. Good luck if yours works. ***Also looks beautiful with black accesories***
