Vintage Blonde, Style with Amp

The Squier Classic Vibe 50s Telecaster is an electric guitar with a look to die for and plenty of '50s 'blackguard' Tele vibe! The Vintage Blonde over pine body totally resonates and you'll be hard-pressed to tell whether or not you are holding a premium ash body guitar! Of course pine is not a foreign wood to guitar making or to Fender history for that matter. Early single and dual pickup Esquire guitars were made with pine bodies.

Featuring a 21-fret vintage tint gloss maple neck with the modern playability of a 9-1/2" radius and medium jumbo frets and outfitted with a custom set of AlNiCo III single-coil pickups, this Squier Tele has tone that can really hang with the big boys. You get clear note separation even in distorted modes and dynamic response with a strong midrange and high end bite for leads!

Classic Vibe!
Back in 1982, the very first Squier by Fender guitars and basses came ringing out of Asia. Known for their excellent vintage-quality look, feel, sound, and construction, those early Squier instruments and their Fender-branded counterparts are now highly sought-after collector's items revered by guitar enthusiasts as models of "getting it right" while aiming at value-conscious players. The Squier Classic Vibe Series reflects that simultaneous commitment to excellence, value, and vibe. Mirroring classic Fender designs, the Classic Vibe offering is not intended to be era or vintage correct—but rather imparting the vibe of a classic Fender design. Each with distinctive feature set combinations—all adding up to one classic-looking instrument. Great sound, vintage looks, unbeatable value—Classic Vibe!

i could not be more pleased with this guitar, the only thing that i might want to change is the neck pickup, because its kind of weak, but i plan on getting some fender scn tele pickups as replacements for that anyway. that is the only reason i put 4.5 on quality.

Love My Squier Tele

I had been looking for a Tele for some time and really did not have a $grand$ to get the one I thought that I wanted. I saw this Tele and read the other reviews. For the major part they were stellar in describing this guitar. They influenced me to go ahead and purchase the instrument. I thought if the guitar did not live up to its reviews I could always send it back and keep looking. Estatic to report that the reviews posted here are actually restrained when describing this Squier Tele's attributes. Like calling Stevie Ray Vaughan a pretty good guitar player. I am blown away especially since I have been around the block more than several time with my music. This guitar actulally EXCEEDS its hype-a real rarity. Right out of the box I couldn't believe how well made it was. No finish blemishes, no frets that needed deburring, no set ups needed for the strings, everything matched exactly. Amazing. I have played this puppy hard! through several studio sessions so far and it has performed flawlessly. It has that pure bell like clarity of the best of the Teles. I play Blues and even with a little distortion it gets even better. I think even the late great Albert Collins would have loved this Tele. I know that I do. I love the silky feel of the polyester coated neck. I can sweat and not get stuck on the fret board. I enthusiastically recommend DO BUY this guitar. You will not be disappointed. Other reviewers were correct in saying that this guitar is better out of the box than the lower priced American made Fender Strats and Teles. I say bravo to Squire. They have it made it right with this guitar. Well done.

having shopped for more than 2 yrs for the right guitar, I knew this classic vibe tele was the one. The quality and workmanship are evident at the out set, and once you plug it in-instant classic fender tones at your fingers. I recomend this to any one looking for quality and affordabilty. can't wait to get home from work and play some more.

My Beloved Little

I bought this & the Placid Blue Strat CV a few months ago & must say I am having an extremely difficult time deciding on which one to play, because they are both that good. I was rockin' them both straight out of the boxes. All I had to do was a minor tuning on each one. After 40+ years of playing & owning a myriad of Gibson & Fender guitars, I've never had it so good. No matter if I run them through my Crate FW120 Full Stack or my Fender FM212R clean or via my Digitech RP350, I am in Heavenly, Musical Bliss. So if anyone cares to listen to a Classic/Blues/Hard Rocker, these axes will definitely fit the bill. BTW - They are also terrific for Metal-Heads, ie...Rammstein, Metallica, Megadeth, etc... In other words, they both will sound as sweet as Carlos Santana playing "Moonflower" to as nasty as Angus' "Dirty Deeds". I strongly advise getting one or both before Fender wakes up & raises the prices, because presently they are a true bargain.

Can't Beat It

I purchased this guitar in the late Spring of 2009, and have not been able to put it down. My American Deluxe Strat. has just been sitting in the case. This guitar is probably better than the quality than the MIM Fenders, and even better than most of the low end American made guitars Fender is putting out currently. I made a minor bridge adjustment after about a week of playing mine, and that was it. You can travel with this guitar, and not worry about nicking it up, plus it still gets the job done. I'm considering buying a couple used ones to modify with new paint and some minor hardware upgrades just for the heck of it.
