This guitar plays well, sounds good and should stand up to use. I can't 'do it all' but it can do bright tones nicely. I use mine most of the time. I use a Squire strat also but not as much as I enjoy playing this model. It looks pretty good, hardware seems decent.

Eliminating the tone and having one pickup makes this guitar "simple" but completely cripples this guitar and one's ability to master the instrument. If you're getting a starter guitar, just get something with a standard pickup config, this is garbage.

I really enjoy playing this guitar! It is great because its not too fancy and complicated. I love how there is only one volume knob and no tone knobs to complicate it. It has really high action which I love! I would recomend for you to buy this guitar if you are thinking about it.
