The Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster Electric Guitar has a proud heritage and a sweet price. The contoured solid alder body is the same world-renowned style that fueled the fires of Hendrix, Clapton, SRV, and thousands more. Pure vintage tone comes pounding out of 3 biting single-coil pickups, taking on flavor from a classic rocking tremolo and 5-way switching. Genuine die-cast tuners provide unprecedented tuning stability in this price range. The headstock is the classic '70s "big" style. The maple neck plays fast and feels great. When you trade up, your Affinity Series Strat will be worth far more than any no-name copy.

This guitar is great! It's my second guitar. The tone is amazing. The only real downside to it is that the "E" sting can be knocked out of tune really easily by using the whammy bar.

A Cheap Knockoff of Fender

When I first bought this guitar, I thought it was the best thing in the world. Then I recieved my '65 reissue Fender Mustang... i finally realized how badly squire compares to Fender... first of all, the paint is Way too thick. The tuning stays in place pretty well, but the playability of this guitar is bad....

I had this guitar in black with the rosewood fretboard when i started playing over twelve years ago. It got stolen about six months after I got it. Needless to say I went through years of having different guitars and playing many different ones along the way. Although I never bought another squier or fender for that matter, i missed it. Then about a week ago I just started wanting a squier or fender again. I bought another one of these,in black with the maple fretboard. I was so happy to have it back and well now my other guitar(esp ltd explorer) has gone unplayed for about a week now. I LOVE this guitar. I can even get a good metal sound out of this with my rp150. If they had a white one with the maple fretboard i would ge that one as well. I just cant play it enough. BUY ONE OF THESE!!

Best beginner guitar or practice guitar

This is a great guitar for those who don't have the cash to go all out. The tone is good, holds tune rather well, and it's sturdy and solid. I use this one as my main guitar because I'm broke and it does just fine. I've had mine for about a year and it's done me no wrong. Beginners, save up and get this one. Experts, it's a good practice or backup guitar.

I bought this guitar to learn to play on for 100 bucks. I then played an identical twin to it except the twin is an american fender. True the Fender plays better but cost 10 times as much. For the value you cant beat it!!!!
