This was my first Electric Guitar. when I saw it in the store i fell in love, and I've been Playing it ever since. the neck is amazing, really slim, Great for soloing. pickups are great. the neck pickup CAN be noisy, but only at full volume. my has Sunburst on the front AND back! (i don't if that's uncommon) too bad it's been Discontinued, and with People going Crazy trying Buy them all. Having said that I'M NEVER SELLING MINE EVER!!!!!

I bought my kids one of these each to learn on. My son wanted somthing with a humbucker, because he,s into AC/DC, and my daughter wanted a guitar with a neck that she could get her fingers around. the 51 fits the bill perfectly, and sounds great too. I own several Squire,s and would not say no to one of these as well.

My dad bought me this guitar a few months ago and I took it to school. I needed a guitar to use for jazz band and this guitar was perfect. This guitar is so simple and sounds great! For this price it is totally worth it!

I bought one of these right before they were discontinued last year, and I'm glad I did! The Squier '51 sounds great, but I wanted to see if I could make it better, so I added some Seymours, but it's only louder. It has it's own unique tone, though when I researched it, I wanted a Tele tone.

there's no other way to put it. this guitar IS AWESOME. i have it in 2-tone sunburst and it's just amazing. this guitar is great for playing rhythm AND lead guitar. both PU's are pretty versatile, ecspecially the humbucker, because of the coil-split function. it sounds great when i split the humbucker and use the rotary tone selector to combine the single coil.i might end up replacing them though. the only 2 BAD things about it is that it has a couple scratches on the back when it was shipped to the store i bought it in, and it was manfactured in Indonesia. the neck is nice and slim for me to play chords and solo's on. overall, very nice guitar: even better for the price.
