I have played Marshall Jubilee amps for the last 20 years, and recently decided to try the Soldano Reverb-O-Sonic. The ROS has MUCH better bottom and than the Marshall Jubilee, and the distorted tone on this amp is much more compressed and less "tinny" than the Jubilee. The ROS is a great amp, and you won't be disappointed if you decide to purchase one!

ok...i play everything from hardcore punk to power pop to folk, and this amp covers every genre as if it is its job. no matter which channel you use the job will get done..this is the classic American workhorse. I've had a mesa boogie maverick 4x10, and a marshall jcm800 and out of all of these, soldano is my favorite. get it today! carpe diem..seize the day and rock out!

I tried out this amp in Scottsdale about a year ago and have lusted for it ever since. When you first look at the amp I found myself taken by the simplistic user interface. For me simple is good! I hate fooling around with knobs for hours and hours to find a great tone. It took me about 5 minutes to find a great Rock'n'Roll tone! The gain in the amp is truly silky with a ton of punch and bite. Every note I played on the Les Paul Standard I used sung out loud. When I rolled back the gain out poured a clean chiming sound not to unlike a Fender Deluxe. But in short I couldn't tear myself away from the amps heavy Marshall-like distortion.

Who is it for? If you worship Korn, keep looking. I wouldn't even recommend it for Metallica either. But if you like AC/DC, Clapton, or just about anything involving the blues or even jazz, this amp is for you, if, you can afford it. The price is VERY steep for a 50 watt 2X12 combo amp. Remember though, you get what you pay for. Soldano will not disappointed.

I have had this amp for a while now, and it has one of the best sounding crunch channels i have ever heard. Don't get me wrong, the clean channel is great, but with rock bands, you need the crunch that this amp delivers. Even at 50 watts, I have never taken the crunch past four playing with drums and bass, and i will never have to. I love this amp.
