This was my first pedal. I bought this with the thought of spicing up my aresenal of Buckethead riffs. It sounds absolutely great. Gives a 90% accurate tone of his. The only drawbacks are that it's extremely noisy and it's not reliable. See, it's feedback is awful. A noise gate probably wouldn't affect it. It also looses signal quite often, which is an easy fix, but when you do a show, you can't afford a wah problem break every two minutes. It messes up almost every day. I'll probably buy an older Snarling Dog. My advice, if you want this sound, buy a Dog, but don't buy this one.

Thw wire to the led indicator light broke. It is a very noisy pedal and lasts about 6 months with regular use. When it is new sounds great. Jeff Beck probably uses a new one every few weeks. I need a wah that will last.

The perfect introductory wah

Besides the harsh digital Experience Hendrix Digitech pedal, thsi was my first wah, and is my current. The features are great, the selectable wah types sounds awesome. The only real downside sound-wise is how noisy it is. This thing is way, way to loud, and hisses like non other.

Another problem is the construction of this thing. the pedal collapses under its own weight, and feels real kind of edgy when you move the sweep. I will say though, for the price, this is unbeatable.

Great, but with problems

This a mean, heavily built beast that does what it's supposed to do... whine and wah. It has a nice wide sweep and quite a few different tones to suit your need. I would have really loved this pedal but it just didn't keep up well with the beating I put on it... in the 2 years I've owned it I have had to spend a few bucks on repairs 3 different times. It may just be a faulty pedal, but I don't know anyone else with this brand.

But I have to say it is worth it, even with the problems. Makes my harmonics scream, beautifully.
