This is a GREAT guitar.I got mine in a scratch and dent sale,and it has proven to be a very good friend.I have played many guitars that were much more expensive,and I wouldn't trade my S6 for them,seriously!They already have a Tusq nut and saddle,so the only upgrades that you need are wooden bridgepins and better tuners.Don't get me wrong,the guitar is already set up pretty good,but to get the most out of your guitar,these changes do need to be made.Overall,I think that this is the best value ever on a serious guitar.Highly recommended!

Every guitarist should own a Seagull. If you are starting out they are an excellent first guitar. If you're an old pro, you probably don't want to bring that pre-war Martin out to the campfire right? The Seagull is a prefect choice as a second guitar. You really can't match the quality and sound of these instruments until you hit about $800-$1000 range.

This guitar sounds absolutely amazing!! It is loud and bright and sounds better then guitars that are $1000+. It is a high quality guitar at a reasonable price. You really cant go wrong buying this guitar. I would recommend it to anyone!!

The specs of this guitar make it rather unique: wide 1.8" fretboard, short scale, cedar top (solid), wild cherry back & sides. No other guitar is quite like it. The cedar top gives it the warmth and depth of tone that you get from a good classical guitar (which I also play). And it is LOUD. The short scale makes it so playable and the wide fretboard makes it feel more like a classical and makes fingerpicking a dream. I can't decide what is better about it: how it sounds, or how it plays. The Godin folks got this one right. I never much thought about a Seagull until I owned one. Now, I can't put it down or say enough good things about it. The longer I play guitar the more that tone and playability are important to me. The Seagull S6 scores big on both counts.

This guitar is the most beautiful guitar I have ever played. I've used others which cost hundreds more (epiphone humming bird, martin classical) and the sound this guitar produces with the correct techniques in my opinion are at par or above many suck models. The solid top makes a beautiful sound and from where I live I can literally drive to where my guitar was made. That's real quality, made from the finest wood with the finest hands in the finest places on earth, this is what gives this guitar the finest sound I have heard to date.
