i play in a 4 piece drummer bass lead and vocals now i sing but somtimes i play rhythm and a little lead. i know 600 bucks is a lot but if you got it and want a guitar that you will use for everything get it. with the tap pressed down i am a metal god with the tap up i am the pretty acoustic kid it does everything and is so fast. it keeps up with everything (including my gib les paul) and blows away most others on mine i raised the bridge pickup a little and dropped the neck pickup and my guitar does everything its so worth it

So, I was in a music store today, and I saw the Blood Moon. Firstly, the pictures don't do the finish justice. Second, the sounds this thing can produce are wonderful. As for cleans, the pickups give a nice rich sound, which can be modified with the coil tap. Naturally, this guitar is meant for metal, and the pickups are great for that as well. The string-thru body adds sustain, which is nice, and the neck is contoured just right where it meets the body, so playing the lowest frets is extremely comfortable.

I got this guitar about a month ago and all I can say is WOW. I had a price limit and I wanted something with SEVERAL specific features. I wanted binding on the guitar, humbucking pickups, a nice paintjob, and very low action. What I got was all of that and more for a price that literally just stumped me. This guitar is as nice as many Les Paul and PRS guitars that cost triple what this one does. The Grover tuners are a big plus as they are my personal favorite aftermarket tuners. The guitar is visually stunning in a nice shade of red and black which is my favorite color combo. The guitar is actually much more glossy in person and not faded looking like the photos. The binding is nice and smooths the edge of the fretboard. The action is painfully low with very little fret buzz at all. The Designed by Duncan pickups are good, but I can't say they will stay forever. For now they get the job done very well. The inlays are also cool and unique to this instrument. Another thing that got me is how light the guitar is. Its like a feather compared to my stratocaster. The neck doesn't even dive despite the fact that its set-neck in construction (which i awesome and its nicely contoured for a soloing hand). The neck is very thin but still full of sustain and power. It is great for those who want to play hard and fast. Finally the graphite nut is amazing provides excellent stability.
Some things I feel I should mention that this description doesn't. This guitar also has the Push-Pull coil tap like its sister the She-Devil, this provides some great tonal range. The fretboard is made of 100% Ebony, not Rosewood. It is especially smooth on fingers when bending. Finally the guitar's truss rod cover does have the name "Blood Moon" on it unlike the pictures.
Overall this guitar is amazing for the price. I feel like I owe Schecter more money. This is probably one of the finest Korean made guitars I've ever played. I suggest everyone pick up a Schecter before the secret about them gets out and the prices skyrocket. Cheers.

The pluses on this thing is amazing! quilted curved maple top set in neck, good tuners, good nut and bridge that sustains forever. The pickups suprised me being Duncan designed, and I wont chanage them out they sound good. They have a really unique gunmetal gray color to them a dark gunmetal black to the pole pieces which makes it unique. Amazing cleans and a great coil tap that almost sounds liks a strat. the paintjob looks amazing and the wood looks pretty good quality wise, with a really cool moon fret inlay. The neck is unbelievely smooth, and I have no complaints on this guitar. Overall, it is a quality instrument that can play different styles from country to metal. Awesome! Schecters are my new favorite company...

I got this thing in the mail and my mom ordered it... This thing is amazing I was shocked... The fretboard is silky smooth, the thing stays in tune really well (grovers), the pickups sound pretty damn good getting tones from jazz to metal(coil tap is a big plus). Its perfect for me because I play so many styles. The paint job and construction is amazing and it beats a epiphone les paul plus top any day. Plus its lighter. Amazing sustain and no complains. I'm picky too.
