I got this guitar about three years ago and absolutely love it! I got it as a closeout at a local Guitar Center. The stock seymour duncans are good for what they are. About a year after i purchased a semour duncan george lynch screamin demon for the bridge position and it does exactly what it says. You can throw in harmonics effortlessly with the right amp set up. It stays in tune fairly well. I'm in college and have decided to leave it at home for safety sake. I come home and its about a nickle sharp when i go to tune it every weekend which i find alright. You can't go wrong with this guitar. I'm and intermediate player with pro friends and they all love the way this guitar sounds and plays. Get it! They dont make em anymore.

This guitar is so badass. I just got mine today and had an EMG-81 put in the bridge and this thing roars with metal. I love then neck, it's so smooth and the body looks absolutely beautiful. With the grover tuners the guitar doesn't come out of tune. I really really recommend this guitar.

This was the first real electric guitar I bought (before this one I've had 2 acoustics and the standard Squier Strat) so initially I had no clue what I was looking for. I've had it for 2 years no and I have no complaints at all.
Aesthetically: The abalone inlays are beautiful. Keep your fretboard polished and they will stay that way. The flame maple top (I have the brown one) is gorgeous and never fails to catch people's attention. The black hardware compliments all of this perfectly. The maple neck and rosewood fretboard work perfectly with the overall look of the guitar. Top notch.
Playing: The coil tap is a very lovely feature which definitely adds to tonal possibilities. The pickups are actually not that bad for stock pickups, even though at some point just for new sound changing the pickups would probably be ideal. The tuners work great (except for my bad habit of always accidentally knocking the G tuner out of place). Fretboard plays great, the fret bars seem a little large in some places, though. No big deal. Sustain is pretty damn good for a bolt-on neck.
I generally play in D standard or C# standard and have no problems with keeping in tune. The bridge is pretty good at its job.
I don't have any complaints about the guitar, it's pretty durable. Mine has a few minor dings on the headstock but it takes a lot to put them there. I've played a few shows with it and everything ran smoothly. The only problem I had with the guitar had to do with the input jack and it was something I accidentally did.
I would recommend buying this guitar in a heartbeat. I have to admit I was initially turned off by Schecter because of the bands that play them (I despise metalcore), but it's turned out to be a great guitar! GET IT!

Not a bad little guitar, I was moving out of my apartment and had a deadbeat roommate who owed me 2 months of utilities. Being the typical LA actor he obviously didn't have any cash so I grabbed the guitar instead and said call it even. This isn't a bad little guitar, I liked the pickups but ended up switching them out with a Seymour Duncan Jazz pup in the neck and a SD-59' in the bridge and adjusted the action to suit (it's a tune-o-matic it's a breeze). I was looking something a little more classic without a super hot pickup and she plays and sounds great now. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to a Les Paul save up your money for the real deal, but overall it has a nice warm fat sound (I believe they use Asian Mahogany like the Epiphones). I don't really use the coil tap, why use a single coil on a mahogany guitar? But other than that seeing what the price is you really get the bang for your buck and it looks fantastic with the flame maple top.

I acquired this guitar not even really wanting it, being in college, I was strapped for cash, and sold one of my G & L L-1500 basses to pay off some debt...
Anyways.. I couldn't be happier with this guitar. I've recorded with it, its seen live shows, and I do believe it was one of the earlier models. I got it used so I don't know the exact production date, but I seriously couldn't be more pleased with this guitar...seriously a solid investment. The overall tone is chunky, a really solid metal rhythm guitar, the coil splitter is nice too.... The cosmetics, are just icing on the cake.
Seriously pick one of these up while you have the chance.(This guitar is seeing more action than my MIA Tele w/ Duncan Blackouts?!)
