The Schecter C1XXX Electric Guitar has some of the most provocative lnlays you'll ever see - nine exotic dancers strut their stuff up and down the rosewood fretboard. A solid mahogany body with carved top and string-thru construction gives you great sustain, and the maple neck provides individual note clarity. Get punch and power from two Seymour Duncan humbucker pickups, and stable, balanced tuning from a 3-top, 3-bottom tuning machine configuration.

Mine just came in today. WOW. I don't even have a decent amp here (waiting for a Vypyr) but the sound out of this thing is already head and shoulders above the Epi G400, the Mikro, and the Squier I've played with in the last few months. Great for metal - it's got teeth that tore up some Pantera and Rammstein. Sounds good on Offspring too, with the coil tapped. The neck is smooth and fast with a nice deep cutaway to reach all the way to 24. Finish is gorgeous, construction flawless, and the inlays... well, you gotta love 'em. I think I've found my new workhorse.

I am into mudflap women. This guitar looks awesome. All I had to do was lower the action to my liking. I usually travel with 5 guitars including this one and it gets played at every show. I keep this guitar in drop C. I think the pickups that came with it were crappy so I pulled both of them and put in EMG's. But afterall, I still give it a 5 for value because where else can you get a black guitar with unique inlays, EMG's or not, at that price? The other guitars I have are 2 - 3 times this price, yet this one sounds, looks, and plays like the rest, and they have boring "dot" inlays!

I bought this C-1 XXX about 6 months ago. I could not be happier. The pickups sound great. Even though they are "Duncan Designed". Paint is flawless, and the binding is great. The inlays are very well finished, as well as the entire fretboard. Speaking of frets, the Schecters have the best fret jobs I've ever seen. They are always level, and have a perfect crown. 2 volume knobs and coil tapping just make this guitar better. Strap buttons are so large that you'll never need strap locks. Grover tuners, a real locking Tone-Pros bridge. There are absolutley no complaints from me on this guitar. I always used Ibanez before I bought this, now I will never own anything else but Schecters.

Magnificent Ax

My band's bass player has a Schecter bass with the dancers on the fretboard. I would always pay homage to the ladies before and after we jammed. One day, he says you gotta come over and see your Christmas present. There it was, a Schecter C1XXX. I normally play an acoustic/electric Takamine EF341SC and an American Fender Strat when I need an electric.

This guitar blew me away! A quick tune and 4 hours later I had to put her down. The sustain goes on forever. It stays in tune all night long. The action is fantastic. I played it through a Marshall half stack and you can shake the sky with this ax. I found myself wanting to play some hardcore, take off your clothes and dance, rawk and roll. Here's something I really liked. It's light. After 4 hours straight, just a little soreness in the shoulders the next day. The Strat would've turned me into a crippled hunchback in half that time.

For the money, this guitar is an excellent choice. It doesn't have the voice of a Strat or a Tele or a Les Paul. Don't but it for that reason. It has it's own voice...let it sing!
