Aged Black

An arched mahogany body and 3-piece mahogany set neck with Schecter's Ultra Access heel contour makes the C1 BlackJack ATX FR so comfortable to play, it almost becomes an extension of your body.

The ATX electric guitar features USA Seymour Duncan active Blackout Humbuckers. These are 9-volt pickups designed for aggressive playing styles; especially good for old school metal, garage, punk, thrash, drop tunings, and other heavy rock styles. The Blackouts' balanced inputs capture the tone that players want in an active design, providing more lows, more highs, more tone period.

The ebony fingerboard features an Active Bolt inlay at the 12th fret, like a warning label for just how much power your axe is packing. Grover tuners and the Original Floyd Rose Tremolo bridge allows you to make it talk without knocking it out of tune. Aged mulitply binding is an excellent frame for the high-class aged finish.

Seymour duncan blackouts are awsome! They are what makes this guitar what it is. Go put this guitar on layaway, get on a payment plan or buy it outright, whatever you do don't hesitate and buy this guitar, you will not be dissapointed. The floyd is everything it should be, beat on it all night and it stays in tune. The pickups are out of this world with constant sustain and tone that will blow you away. Turn down the gain and you got a les paul like sound, fat and beefy. Turn it all the way up and you have a metal machine that will outperform any emg machine youv'e ever played.

For long time I have looked for a guitar like this. The power and sustain are nothing but amazing. I usually don't dig Duncan pickups but these blackouts are the best active pickup I have ever played and I've been playing for 21 years, power of an active, character and tone of a passive. The neck feels perfect to me and has great weight. My only real criticism is the inability to split the pickups into single coil, not that I use that very often, but it is nice for the occasional quiet moments. It plays great and looks great. I want one with the fixed bridge now and this time I will get white.

This guitar plays like a dream. The Floyd is exactly what you would expect from a Floyd. The pickups clean up surprisingly nicely, and as expected create mind-boggling distortion and sustain if needed. I have two guitars with active EMGs and the blackouts blow them out of the water. The finish is immaculate as is the balance and depth of the guitar. A+

I got this guitar the other day and I'm very pleased with it. I had owned a Schecter Lady Luck and I got rid of it because I didn't care much for it and I felt limited when I played it but this guitar is different in ways that makes it hard to beat. The pickups for one are amazing and for actives have almost no hum tons of sustain. And the Floyd doesn't disappoint at all it provides new ways for expression that you just can't get with a standard string through or stop-tailpeice, and feel really good and solid. Low action across the entire ebony fret board. Very playable and comfortable. So to make along story short It's hard to find these high end features in a relativly affordable guitar.
